  1. I fear that only WordWolf will get this. I hope I'm mistaken. Two musicians witness the St. Valentine's Day massacre and hide from the mob, disguised as women, at a freestyle skiing contest. George
  2. Sort of like "Monty Python and the Holy Grail," some movies have a LOT of recognizable one-liners. "The Princess Bride" I bought my stepson a t-shirt that had on it (silkscreened) a stick-on nametag that said HELLO, My Name Is Inego Montoya You killed my father Prepare to die. Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain. George
  3. I suppose that that also explains the "Dr. Strangelove" guess. I didn't think O'Toole was in it. Definitely NOT "Lawrence of Arabia." The actual title is in one of the quotes I posted. George
  4. Nope. "His lordship is a paranoid schizophrenic." "Paranoid schizophrenic? But he's a Gurney!" "Then he's a paranoid schizophrenic Gurney who believes he's God." "But we've always been Church of England!" "What about Jack?" "Remember he's suffering from delusions of grandeur. In reality he's an earl, an English aristocrat, a member of the ruling class. Naturally, he's come to believe there's only one person grander than that: the Lord God Almighty Himself." "Are you English?" "No." "[slowly] Ah." "How do you know you're God?" "Simple. When I pray to Him, I find I am talking to myself." "I was only trying to do what's expected me. I recall as a sign of normalcy in our circle to slaughter anything that moves." "I can't marry a second time." "You're already married?" "August 28, in the year of Me, 1964." "For what I am about to receive, may I make myself truly thankful." "He can't forget being rejected by his mother and father at the age of 11. They sent him away, alone, into a primitive community of licensed bullies and pederasts." "You mean he went to public school." "Exactly." George
  5. It appears that no one has seen this movie. If you've seen it, at least the top clue would be a dead giveaway. Classic Peter O'Toole. (Academy Award nomination for this role) George
  6. Leonardo Dicaprio The Departed Matt Damon George
  7. Actually, Agnes Moorhead was the only Endora, though there were two Gladys Kravitzes (and two Louise Tates, according to IMDb). But no, not the show, This will give it away: Lots of curves, you bet! George
  8. Actually, I think "Bewitched" only changed out one actor, and I don't remember it crossing over with other shows. One of the actors to be replaced in the show I have in mind was also the voice of Wilma Flintstone (deja vu). George

  10. This isn't the line everyone uses for this movie, but it's my favorite line, and I think it's memorable enough to give it away: I came here tonight because when you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible. George
  11. Brent Spiner Independence Day Judd Hirsch George
  12. This comedy had a number of its actors replaced during the run, mostly new actors taking over the same characters; in another case, a new actor in a new role replacing a main character after the actor died. This show occasionally "crossed over" with two other popular comedies at the time. George PS I mean "actor" not to be gender-specific.
  13. I know that when someone gives the actual title, I'll be slapping myself; but I always thought of the song as "Ground Control to Major Tom"! George
  14. I'm guessing it's Sherlock Holmes. I don't know the BBC show, but CBS has "Elementary" a good show, and a very different take on Holmes and Watson! George
  15. Adrienne Barbeau The Fog John Houseman George
  16. Milla Jovovich Zoolander Owen Wilson George
  17. As a kid, I never noticed the similarities between "The Honeymooners" and "The Flintstones." It wasn't until I read a Jackie Gleason interview in Playboy (yes, I read the articles) discussing it. Then it was one of those "Duhhh" moments! Gleason mentioned that Alan Reed (Fred) occasionally "looped" Gleason's lines in "Honeymooners" episodes. George
  18. Driving Miss Daisy Dan Aykroyd The Blues Brothers George
  19. John Lithgow The Wrong Man Rosanna Arquette George
