  1. What really seemed to escape the TWI leaders is that God depicted idolatry as fornication BECAUSE PHYSICAL FORNICATION WAS BAD!!! If adultery and fornication weren't wrong, it would be silly to depict idolatry as such. George
  2. Really? This was a very popular movie, and that was probably the most memorable line. Okay, here's another exchange (same movie): "Can you guess what this is?" "Oh my God, it's DIP!" "That's right, my dear! Enough to dip Toon Town off the face of the earth! Vehicle of my own design; 5,000 gallons of heated dip, pumped at enormous velocity through a pressurized water cannon. Toon Town will be erased in a matter of minutes." George
  3. I'd give it another day, at least. I don't mind googling to move the game along, but we need to give others a fair shot at it. Not everyone checks in here three times a day! ;) George
  4. Since I mentioned this earlier... Shep George
  5. Unless they made a "Barney Miller" movie, I'm stuck here. :) George
  6. Correct, except it's "Shemp," not "Shep." (In fact, "Shep" might be a clue to another show...) I forget what show I watched recently, maybe "Psych," where a hospital page announcement called for "Dr. Fine, Dr. Besser, Dr. DeRita" instead of the old Stooges line "Dr. Howard, Dr. Fine, Dr. Howard." A cute in-joke with a wink to Curly's replacements, Joe Besser and "Curly Joe" DeRita. But I digress. You're up! George
  7. You're doing fine. You just haven't learned to be devious yet. For example, for "I Spy," you could use an eye and a spy. Subtler would be to use eyes and pie. Devious would be to use ice and pie (or pi). :) George
  8. Straightforward. Let's see if someone else gets it. George
  9. Right. DOUG (Maclure) + ODD + FODDER Your turn! George
  10. "The Music Man" I'm not really bad; I'm just drawn that way. George
  11. "Ticket to Ride" What goes up must come down George
  12. Sorry. It was the Human. You answer so many of these, I just wasn't paying attention. Anyway, John Travolta Swordfish Halle Berry George
  13. bfh, You can't go from "Honeymoon in Vegas" to "Honeymoon in Vegas" in one step. You'll need to find another James Caan movie. George
  14. Well, It's not "Bram Stoker's Dracula," if that's what you mean. It's just "Dracula" starring Bela Lugosi. (The book, of course, was written by Stoker.) Go ahead. George
  15. Nicolas Cage Honeymoon in Vegas James Caan George
  16. "Kojak" Interestingly, his ability always to find a parking space exactly where he needed to be became an idiom: "kojaking" a parking space. Moishe, Lawrence, Shmuel, and Jerry George
  17. I asked your mother if you were at home She said yes, but you weren't alone Oh, sometimes I think that you're avoiding me I'm OK alone but you got something I need. George
  18. Harrison Ford Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull Shia Lebeouf George
  19. Correct. How'd you guess? ;) George
  20. I'm not sure that the Muppets ever had their own show. And "Sesame Street" is not correct, either. D'oh! George
  21. Actually, I think that may be the only feature film Rogers starred in. Replace Rogers with Barry Corbin George
  22. I think it's "Polk Salad Annie," but I don't remember the artist. George
