  1. Is (B) "Ben Stein's Money"? I don't remember the dunce cap, but I do know that Ben competed against the last-standing contestant in the final round. George
  2. Chris is a rainmaker for Mexico. George
  3. No. "Rufus, Brint, and Meekus were like brothers to me. And when I say brother, I don't mean, like, an actual brother, but I mean it like the way black people use it. Which is more meaningful I think." "I wasn't like every other kid, you know, who dreams about being an astronaut, I was always more interested in what bark was made out of on a tree. Richard Gere's a real hero of mine. Sting. Sting would be another person who's a hero. The music he's created over the years, I don't really listen to it, but the fact that he's making it, I respect that. I care desperately about what I do. Do I know what product I'm selling? No. Do I know what I'm doing today? No. But I'm here, and I'm gonna give it my best shot." "There was a moment last night, when she was sandwiched between the two Finnish dwarves and the Maori tribesmen, where I thought, "Wow, I could really spend the rest of my life with this woman"." "I'm sorry that good-looking people like us made you throw up and feel bad about yourself." "Derek, that was unbelievable!" "I know! I turned left!" "Yeah, that too, but Derek, you saved the prime minister of Malaysia!" "Oh, right, cool." George
  4. Day Tripper He's free as the breeze; he's always at ease. He lives in the jungle and hangs by his knees, As he swings through trees without a trapeze, in his BVD's. George
  5. Waysider, two things about this thread: You don't have to give the performer (though it's okay to do so); If you're sure of the answer, just go ahead and post another. (If I'm not sure about an answer I post, I usually end it with a question mark and wait for confirmation.) Mello Yellow was correct, so you're up. George
  6. Again, I've seen (C) a decade ago, but I can't remember the name. The other three escape me completely. George
  7. The Blues Brothers "Is she with you?" "I thought she was with you." George
  8. Beryl. Not a good track, though wind shear and Saharan dust may knock it out before it hits the US. George
  9. It's another name for a caveman. It was an oddball hit in the early 70s. George
  10. I'm not sure that the Daniel Craig Bond actually drinks martinis. Don't know if David Niven did, either. I do believe this (part of) a line was used in multiple Bond films, though, so you may be right. I'd have gone with an earlier one, Like Goldfinger or Dr. No. George
  11. Neither. I imagine that this show is regarded as science fiction, though it was more of a drama. George

George
  13. I am. "Oh, Boy." George (Note: I'm sure that phrase probably has shown up in almost every TV show, at one time or another; but it ppeared in EVERY episode of the show I have in mind.)
  14. Is (B) "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader"? I know I've seen (C), but that was 15 years ago, George
  15. Assuming that's it, it's another song I heard countless times without ever listening to the lyrics. George
  16. It's kind of funny. Probably because I was a big JLA fan, I liked Sekowsky's work. It's funny how much impact an inker can have. With Bernard Sachs or Sid Greene, it was rather pleasant. When George Roussos started inking Sekowski, it was AWFUL. There were two or three JLA issues like that before Dick Dillin took over the penciling. I can't remember who did the inking on Sekowsky's GL and WW runs. But I digress. WW is up. George
  17. Actually, that quote was from International Man of Mystery, but go ahead. George
  18. Independence Day Brent Spiner The Great Outdoors George
  19. Gunsmoke is correct. A lot of interesting info about James Arness. George
