  1. Actually, this thread has had a bunch of views, just no one to step in. George
  2. Again, in the hope that this thread isn't a duet, I'll pass for a day. IS ANYONE ELSE OUT THERE? :) George
  3. This line is in the middle of the song, but it should make it obvious: And I'll gladly STAND UP, next to you... George
  4. Daryl Hannah Dancing at the Blue Iguana Jennifer Tilly George
  5. Vega$, actually, but yes. Your go. George
  6. Ah. "Easy A-Team" Stoners Ashton Kutcher and Seann Williams Scott share a problem with Officers Toody and Muldoon. George
  7. Obviously, the latter half is the A-Team, which makes even more sense, since the "scarlet letter" was an A. I don't know the movie title, though. George
  8. Dan Tanna is a private investigator whose living room doubles as his garage. And the show was a one-word title, based on the location of the show. George
  9. Karen Allen Animal House Thomas Hulce George
  10. What can I say? I'm "old-school," using primarily the KJV and Douay versions. Most of the time, though, I use Kurt Aland's edition of the Greek New Testament. I went to a Jesuit high school, so I took Latin as a freshman, and, having done well in that, was placed in Greek as a sophomore. Greek was taught MWF, with Theology taught at the same time period TuTh, so we all received Greek New Testaments (which we couldn't read until about halfway through the second semester). I dug it out when taking PFAL (in grad school), and have been using it ever since. The binding is a little worn now, but it's held up well for over 40 years! George
  11. While searching for the body of a dead teen-ager, four friends run across a policeman with a split personality. George
  12. "A Tale of Two Ministries" It would begin with the joy of reaching others with a message that stirred my heart (Late 70's-early 80's). It would end with oppressive leadership, confusion, and sorrow. (I might consider adding an Appendix of my POST-TWI experiences, so it wouldn't be a total downer.) George
  13. I'm guessing that the first half is "I Know What You Did Last Summer." I don't know the Spike Lee reference. George
  14. Baby, although I chose this lonely life It seems it's stranglin' me now All the wild men, big cigars, gigantic car They're all laughin' at the lie Oh, I've been used Ooo-oo-oo-oo (used)' I've been a fool Oh, what a fool I broke all the rules Oh, yeah George
  15. Again, hardly the most memorable line. THIS one should be a giveaway. The rain in Spain falls mainly on the plain. George
  16. Skyrider, this caught my eye: "1) The cover-up of the failed pfal-updating -- ie PFAL '77" I'm unaware of this. I mean, I saw "Changed," so I know about PFAL '77, but what about the "failed updating"? Oh, and "I know, I know......why did I stay in the corps program? Must have been the girls...... " I was able to resist the pressure to join the Corps, although the women always seemed pretty hot! George
  17. You were correct. I'm not sure about this one. And I'd like this not to be a two-man game, anyway, so I'll sit on it a bit. George
  18. Gene Rayburn quizzes two contestants and a celebrity panel on the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros. George
