  1. I didn't realize that it was that recent. I'll post another shortly. George
  2. I still remember Paulsen talking about gun control: "You come home and find your wife in the arms of another man. What are you going to do? Poison him?" I can't remember if I've used this one on this thread before. For some reason, the search function will search the forums as a whole, but not just this thread. Anyway: A number of shows have had actors replaced by others, either in the same role (e.g., Darin Stevens) or as a replacement (Bub/Uncle Charlie). This show had three actors play one role, two actors playing another, and a third character was "replaced" upon the death of an actor. (PS I'm using the term actor without reference to gender.) George
  3. Sounds like "The Smothers Brothers." I remember Pat Paulsen's mock Presidential campaign; was that on the show? I also remember the phrase "kiss my bass," but I don't remember "tea time." George
  4. A research assistant brings a gas chromatograph to the Amazon jungle, to aid an eccentric scientist. Imagine her surprise to find Thomas More! George

  13. It IS pretty cool. The photographer must have been VERY still, and maybe used a high-resolution telephoto lens, to get that shot. George
  14. I had heard that Kenneth Copeland and/or his wife Gloria had taken PFAL. It seemed reasonable to me, as a lot of Copeland's teachings (especially on Christian prosperity) were very similar to VPW's. Of course, now it seems more likely that both men drew on common sources... :) George
  15. Drew Barrymore ET the Extra-Terrestrial Dee Wallace (Stone) George
  16. Tom Cruise All the Right Moves Lea Thompson George
  17. I never remember which movie this actually comes from. "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly"? George PS MY favorite parody is in Weird Al's "UHF": "Badgers? We don' need no stinkin' badgers!"
