  1. Not a bad transliteration of his accent. ;) George
  2. A recovering alcoholic divorces her abusive husband and gets a blue-collar job to support her kids. Surprisingly, it's a comedy. George
  3. I didn't realize that it was that recent. I'll post another shortly. George
  4. I still remember Paulsen talking about gun control: "You come home and find your wife in the arms of another man. What are you going to do? Poison him?" I can't remember if I've used this one on this thread before. For some reason, the search function will search the forums as a whole, but not just this thread. Anyway: A number of shows have had actors replaced by others, either in the same role (e.g., Darin Stevens) or as a replacement (Bub/Uncle Charlie). This show had three actors play one role, two actors playing another, and a third character was "replaced" upon the death of an actor. (PS I'm using the term actor without reference to gender.) George
  5. Sounds like "The Smothers Brothers." I remember Pat Paulsen's mock Presidential campaign; was that on the show? I also remember the phrase "kiss my bass," but I don't remember "tea time." George

  15. It IS pretty cool. The photographer must have been VERY still, and maybe used a high-resolution telephoto lens, to get that shot. George
  16. I had heard that Kenneth Copeland and/or his wife Gloria had taken PFAL. It seemed reasonable to me, as a lot of Copeland's teachings (especially on Christian prosperity) were very similar to VPW's. Of course, now it seems more likely that both men drew on common sources... :) George
  17. Drew Barrymore ET the Extra-Terrestrial Dee Wallace (Stone) George
  18. Tom Cruise All the Right Moves Lea Thompson George
  19. I never remember which movie this actually comes from. "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly"? George PS MY favorite parody is in Weird Al's "UHF": "Badgers? We don' need no stinkin' badgers!"
  20. Sgt. Hulka says it when he jumps off a tower onto the top of "The Van" as the crew escapes from Czechoslovakia. George
