  1. A color/car theme, I see. "Big Yellow Taxi" by Joni Mitchell Under the cover of night She crawls into sight Her skin is cold china white She's a dark angel wearing dark glasses Dark shadows under long false lashes George
  2. "A Little Help from My Friends" All the leaves are brown... George
  3. I imagine that I've seen the show, but if it predates "Honey West" it's got to be pretty early 60's, when I was just a lad. George
  4. Cuss-blocker got you! (Actually, I always thought the word was "baddest," anyway.) Here's a similar song: Uptown got it's hustlers / The bowery got it's bums George
  5. "...Well, who is on our side?" "Six hundred million screaming Chinamen." "Last I heard, there were a billion screaming Chinamen." "There were." My favorite part of the movie. "Red Dawn" George
  6. That would be Gene Barry. And I believe you're right about the show. I seem to remember a made-for-TV movie several years back that brought together a LOT of stars from the old Western TV shows. Gene Barry, Doug McClure, Jim Garner... Anyone else remember tht? George
  7. "King of the Road" Well, life on the farm is kinda laid back; ain't much an old --- --- like me can't hack... George (deleted words are not cuss words but give away part of the title)
  8. The only song I know with Green Lantern in the lyrics "Sunshine Superman" by Donovan Well now way back in the Bible Temptations always come along There's always somebody tempting Somebody into doing something they know is wrong George
  9. "White Rabbit" (Not the last line) Ahh, look at all the lonely people... George
  10. But... "I Get a Kick Out of You" (Not the first line) Instead of being my deliverance, she had a strange resemblance to a "cat" named Frankenstein George
  11. This late 50's-early 60's show originally was about two cardsharp brothers. Later, a cousin and another brother joined the show. No more than two of the "family" ever appeared together in an episode. George
  12. Robert DeNiro Raging Bull Cathy Moriarty George
  13. "The A-Team" Dirk Benedict ("Face") was in Battlestar Galactica and guested on Galactica 1980 before the A-Team Dwight Schultz ("Howling Mad Murdock") was in Star Trek the Next Generation and guested on Star Trek Voyager (along with the movie Star Trek: First Contact) as Reg Barclay Mr. T ("BA Baracus") achieved stardom opposite Sly Stallone in Rocky 3. And the A-Team movie did pretty well. :) George
  14. Some of these quotes seem vaguely familiar, but nothing really rings a bell. George
  15. I imagine that this is a version of "Sleeping Beauty." George
  16. If that's the case, go ahead. You don't need the performer for this thread. George (PS I could be wrong, but I think the band is the Rolling Stones. It "sounds" like Mick Jagger in my head.)
  17. I can hear that first line, but no further... George
  18. And I didn't recognize it, having seen the movie. George
  19. I infer that "Firefly" and this other show were contemporary, meaning ca. 2002. Still need more help, though. George
  20. "A League of Their Own" You be strong, you survive... You stay alive, no matter what occurs! I will find you. No matter how long it takes, no matter how far, I will find you. George
  21. The Shadow Penelope Ann Miller Other People's Money George
  22. If Brother Speed isn't around, anyone else can jump in.
