  1. Not striking a familiar chord here, either. Maybe if we know who the self-destructive one was... George
  2. Interesting. Assuming you're referring to tonight's Flash, is the mention of SPOCK's yelling "Khan" in the revised timeline being compared to Thawne's cry? (That shouldn't spoil anything for WW, who, I'm sure, hasn't seen the episode yet.) George
  3. I'm sure that all of those clues will make perfect sense, once the answer is revealed. I can think of a few Winona Ryder movies, but none whose lead actor died prematurely. George
  4. If "Gigantor" was anime, I didn't know it. :) That was one I DID watch, in my pre-teens. I guess "Teen Titans Go!" is also anime. I watch it occasionally, when I'm in a weird mood. Still no luck with the "Super-Dimensional Battleship Gatchaman" shows, though. George
  5. Sorry, friend. About the only anime-type cartoon I ever watched was "Speed Racer," and I didn't even like it much. I don't recognize any of the shows. George
  6. Rock 'n roll will always be Our ticket to the end It will go down in history, Just you wait, my friend Rock 'n roll will always be, It'll go down in history George
  7. I know I wrote an answer to this, but maybe I hit "back" instead of "add reply." I do that sometimes. 1 Was Cleopatra 2525. Of the stars of the show, Gina Torres has had the most success (lead roles in "Firefly" and "Suits," and recurring roles in others. Vicky Pratt starred in "Mutant X," but not much else. Jennifer Sky (Cleopatra) never did much after the show. 2 was Jack of All Trades. I loved Vern Troyer as Napoleon. (He even had a large bodyguard which he called "Maxi-Me"!) 3 was Adventure, Inc., starring Michael Biehn and Karen Cliché. Back to WW's new clued. #1 seems familiar, but I don't recognize the others at all. George
  8. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation Beverly D'Angelo Hair George
  9. Raf, what were you linking to? Human's last entry was "The Love Guru." George
  10. The thought hadn't occurred to me, but it's not out of the question. You're right about subsequent events, though. He certainly doesn't seem to be "using." George
  11. Owen Wilson Meet the Parents Blythe Danner George
  12. I get the A.T.O.M. bit. But his suit is just too Iron-Man-ish. Flying, armor, bolts from the hands, pop-up display -- I'm surprised that he doesn't call the AI "Jarvis." George
  13. The Jerk Bernadette Peters Pink Cadillac George
  14. Not to derail this thread, but I really don't think we need an "Arrow" thread... Since when is the Atom just Iron Man? (I don't mind that this version of Ray Palmer is (yet another) genius billionaire instead of a brilliant college physics professor.) I hope he loses most of the tech/armor and works in shrinking. George
  15. Amazon Women (also kidding) Dallas Buyer's Club Matthew McConaughey Edtv George
  16. "Anyway, like I was sayin', shrimp is the fruit of the sea. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, saute it. Dey's uh, shrimp-kabobs, shrimp creole, shrimp gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried. There's pineapple shrimp, lemon shrimp, coconut shrimp, pepper shrimp, shrimp soup, shrimp stew, shrimp salad, shrimp and potatoes, shrimp burger, shrimp sandwich. That- that's about it." George
  17. Technically, you should have started with Bill Cosby, but OK. Eddie Murphy Beverly Hills Cop Ronny Cox George
  18. It's not the time travel that bothered me. It's Captain Cold (and probably Heat Wave and Golden Glider) knowing Flash's identity, and the bizarre bargain that Barry made with him. If I understand correctly, it's basically "I won't toss you in jail while you rob stuff, as long as you don't kill anyone or bother my friends." There are a number of instances in the DC universe where a villain knows a hero's identity but doesn't reveal it (Ra's al Ghul/Batman comes to mind immediately); but the rationales never made sense to me. The only part I COULD see is the "If you're so great, you don't need to kill" appeal to CC's ego. (And, incidentally, Flash's Rogues DO have a no-killing code, in the comics.) I don't see this version of Heat Wave agreeing to that, though perhaps CC can keep him (and GG) in line. George
  19. If you can't think of another Cosby movie, it's still up for grabs. Hint: take a look at the Movie-Mash-up thread. George
  20. "Around the World in 80 Days"? George
