  1. Meryl Streep Prairie Home Companion Woody Harrelson George
  2. WW, you're up. If you're not ready, I have a good triple to try. George
  3. I think we could use more details. George
  4. "Incense and Peppermints" has a "nothing to win, but nothing to lose" line, but I'm pretty sure that's not this song. George
  5. In this musical, one of the songs has the lead female character compared with 19 other women: Mavis and Sybil [have ways that are winning,] Prudence and Gwendolyn [set your heart spinning,] Phoebe [delightful,] Maude [is disarming,] Janis, Felicia, Lydia [charming,] Cynthia [dashing,] Vivian ['s sweet,] Stephanie [smashing,] Priscilla [a treat,] Veronica, Millicent, Agnes, Jane [convivial company time and again,] Doris, Phyllis, Glynis [of sorts, I'll agree are three jolly good sports]. The child actors were kept in the dark about certain "magical" sequences, so that their expressions of awe were real. One of the children was afraid of heights, so he was coaxed with a 10-cent "bonus" for every take of a "floating" scene. George
  6. That's it. :) "Bang, Bang You're Dead" From Wikipedia: At Rivervale High School, Trevor Adams (Ben Foster) is a bullied outcast trying to fit back in after a false bomb threat he made a few months ago. Trevor is chosen to star in a play called Bang Bang You're Dead as the main character, Josh. After parents and the community hear of the play and its lead actor, they call for it to be canceled. Starring as one of the teachers, Tom "Reverse-Flash" Cavanagh. George
  7. I suspect that the second film is not well-known enough. Pretend you're a six-year-old, playing cops 'n robbers, and you shoot your finger (pretend) gun at your friend. What do you say? George
  8. The Fantastic Four Jessica Alba Sin City George
  9. The Experts Kelly Preston Sky High George
  10. I personally know only five people who have committed suicide. (That's five more than I'd like, but my point is that of all of the people who've committed suicide, I knew five.) All of them were associated with TWI at one time or another, though I would say that TWI was largely responsible for only one of those. George
  11. I believe that that particular line was used only in the first one (although "shagging" is prevalent in all of them), so Human is up. George
  12. Samuel Jackson A Time to Kill Matthew McConaughey George
  13. These guys were actors fourscore and seven years ago... ;) George
  14. Ian McKellen (was in all of the Rings and Hobbit movies) X-Men Halle Berry George
  15. A good guess, but not what I was looking for. Hint: it's more than a one-word overlap. George
  16. A hard-luck inventor develops a flying car, which he uses to try to help a troubled high school student avoid a violent confrontation with the school jocks. George
  17. It strikes me more as a serious detective movie, like an Hercule Poirot story. I guess we COULD wait for another quote or two. George
