Of course, that means that Raf is up... George -
Got it in one. The main reason for the show's success: George

I actually HAD a home, free and clear. They wanted me to sell it and move closer to my Twig Leader. You see, my house was 30 miles from fellowship, but only five from where I worked. I was also culpable because I lived alone. Fortunately, I never bought those arguments. Probably part of the reason they booted me. :) George

The lead actor and actress of this film had never done a love scene before, and both felt quite awkward doing it. You couldn't tell from where I was sitting. :) Although the lead actor and actress spend a lot of time together in the film, he only speaks five words to her. Other cast members had stunt doubles, but the leads performed their own stunts, as suitable doubles could not be found. George

This show was picked up by CBS after having poor ratings on NBC. It became a big success afterwards. Unused footage from movies like Top Gun (1986), Flight of the Intruder (1991), Clear and Present Danger (1994) and The Hunt for Red October (1990) was used in this TV series. George

There are two possibilities. I don't think it's "Soap," but rather "Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman." George

"Young Frankenstein" The props were from the old "Frankenstein" movie. Marty Feldman moved his hump (What hump?) around. "Putting on the Ritz" by Berlin was one of the movie's funniest scenes. I'm not sure about the other clues, I'll let WW spell them out. George

This cop show takes place in a city patterned after Chicago. At morning roll call, the officers get their assignments from a puppy who puts her paw on each one. George -
And you MIGHT have been right. Gibson was considered for Steed. Paltrow and Kidman were considered for Peel. Diana Rigg turned down the role of "Alice." Patrick MacNee was "Invisible Jones." You heard him but did not see him. I remember hearing about an "Avengers" TV show when I was young. I was surprised to find out that it was not about the Marvel Comics group. :) I was too young to lust after Diana Rigg. I just thought the show was cool. I was a bit older when Julie Thorson took over... ;) George
