I'm sure that at least one of them said "Ich bin ein Berliner." George -

Evil miser George Herman Ruth interferes in the wedding of Tom the Piper's Son and Mary Quite Contrary by hiring thugs to steal Mary's sheep. George -
As Dr. Welby operated out of a home office, the outside of "his" home was the same as that of "the Cleavers," with the addition of a "Marcus Welby, M.D." shingle. Elena Verdugo was the office manager/nurse. The other regulars were love interests, medical staff, etc. My dad actually bore a passing resemblance to Robert Young. Apparently, hiway passes his turn. Feel free to jump in. George

No, but not a bad try. It's time to give this one away. It could have been called "Doctor Knows Best." :) George

No. The two main characters are doctors. The exterior of the main character's residence is the same as in "Leave it to Beaver," with one small modification. Regulars (but not the stars) included Elena Verdugo, Anne Baxter, Christine Belford, Anne Schedeen, Gavin Brendan, Sharon Gless, and Pamela Hensley. The show caught hell from gay activist groups when one of the main characters counseled a young man to resist his homosexual urges, and again when the story involved a male student being sexually assaulted by a male teacher. As in a number of "team" shows, there was an older veteran and a younger protégé. The twist was that the veteran utilized unusual methodology, whereas the protégé was "by the book." George

For those not versed in such things, "Amalgam" was a series of comics essentially fusing the DC and Marvel universes. This gave us Iron Lantern; Thorion (Thor + Orion); JLX (JLA + X-Men); and, God help us, Lobo the Duck, among others. WW is up. (I thought Iron Man of Steel had a nice ring to it, though Raf's comment is well-taken.) George -
That was a goofy movie, but it was fun to watch Travolta pretending to be Cage impersonating Travolta, and vice versa. George

You got it. I thought that the earlier version of this movie was called "Waiting for Mr. Jordan," which would have made a movie that was it's own remake: "Heaven Can Waiting for Mr. Jordan." Unfortunately, the original was actually "Here Comes Mr. Jordan." Phooey. :) George -

A quarterback for the LA Rams is hit by a truck. An over-zealous angel takes his soul, not realizing that he was supposed to live many more years. His soul is placed into the body of a just-murdered (drugged and drowned) multimillionaire, who uses his money to aid a blind woman terrorized by thugs who think she has heroin in her home. George -
Great insight. Karma. :) George
