  1. I think DiCaprio is an excellent actor. I would also offer Sean Penn. Personal life a mess, but he is an amazingly versatile actor. I think that a truly great performer should be able to do comedy and drama equally well. Ones you've mentioned, Hanks and Hackman, come to mind; I might add (Michal) Keaton. I'm having trouble thinking of actresses who do both well, though. George
  2. It probably is, but you'll have to complete the rhyme. George
  3. I'm pretty sure that Raf and WW have seen it. Slappy White Steve Allen Henny Youngman Rip Torn David Allen Grier Steve Guttenberg Ralph Bellamy Robert Picardo Carrie Fisher Arsenio Hall Rosanna Arquette Michele Pfeiffer Corinne Wahl Kelly Preston Monique Gabrielle George
  4. It's nice to see Superman, but I really hope he doesn't become a major part of the show. The "J'onn J'onzz keeps Kryptonite around" deal simply means that Superman doesn't trust him (yet). The Superman WE know GAVE Batman some Kryptonite, just in case he (Superman) went off the rails. J'onn not only has to consider that, but we've already seen a bunch of evil Kryptonians around. Heck, I'D keep green K around, if I could find some! George
  5. We're discussing "Poltergeist," You're up! George
  6. I don't know how much to go into, until WW chimes in. I didn't think the "new now" was all that bad, though. Of course, this is from the new, new, new, new, new, new ...[counts fingers]...new, NEW DC, where the only constant is change. George
  7. Yeah. Getting pretty crowded, there! George
  8. Steve Guttenberg Ralph Bellamy Richard Picardo Carrie Fisher Arsenio Hall Rosanna Arquette Michele Pfeiffer Corinne Wahl Kelly Preston Monique Gabrielle George
  9. It seems that "Arrow" may be darker, again. Definitely, some of the scenes in this season's first episode are reminiscent of Season 1. And there's even a new, mystery archer-in-black! On the other hand, Flash is certainly different, so far... George
  10. Not the one I'm thinking of. Picture a girl in front of a very static-y TV. George
  11. And you have judged correctly. George
  12. An orphan and a pickpocket swindle a couple of storm chasers on the verge of divorce. George
  13. The star of this show is best known as a singer, but has appeared in movies, even before the TV series. Her character's name was going to be "Sally," but she decided instead to use her real first name, to help draw in her fan base as viewers. George
  14. The Shining Hopefully, this brings to mind only one movie. I admit that the line may have appeared in others. "They're he----eere!" George
  15. Cadillac Man Robin Williams Awakenings George
  16. Missing in Action Jackson? BTW, are you out of "Matthew's" way? George
  17. That's it. In the movie, Mr. Phelps has actually turned double agent, and Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) finds him and brings him in. He turns on his laptop, to show the "Secretary" greeting, "Good morning, Mr. Phelps." The laptop self-destructed, killing Phelps. So, that character appeared only in the first movie. George
  18. I could just say, for this one, "A whole lot of actors"; but I'll give some Rosanna Arquette Michele Pfeiffer Corinne Wahl Kelly Preston Monique Gabrielle George
  19. The correct answer is not "any" Mission Impossible. George
  20. In that case, perhaps another couple of clues would help. George
  21. "If God didn't want them to be slaughtered, he wouldn't have made them sheep." "He's got an army !" "And they'll be murdered by the world's greatest lover ." "What we lost in the fire, we found in the ashes." "He made them murder my husband, he will take everything we have." "So you seek revenge?" "I seek righteousness. But I'll take revenge." George
  22. I believe the first half is the Chuck Norris film "Missing in Action." Don't recognize the second half. George
