  1. Interesting take. I was thinking, more of a Perry White type. Of course, I don't think comic book Snapper was ever a newsman. I forget what he did for a living in the Hourman series. Oh, and I was wondering when Miss Martian would show her true colors... George
  2. Aw, c'mon. Call him Snapper. Everyone does! George
  3. Well, I saw Supergirl. Fodder for Politics 'n Tacks. Oh, and some new takes on DC characters. No real complaints, but some things don't need to be changed. George
  4. Backdraft Jennifer Jason Leigh Fast Times at Ridgemont High George
  5. Presumed Innocent Greta Scacchi Shattered George
  6. "Silence of the Lambs" "More wolfbane, Doctor?" "Stronger than wolfbane, Count!" George
  7. Still don't know without googling, but here's a guess: "Here Comes the Bride of Frankenstein" George
  8. The second half is obvious, now, but I don't know the Carter/Depp film. George
  9. A number of people have tried to get that accomplished, as yet, to no avail. And then, there's the challenge of teaching 300 million people a new song. I suspect that there are fewer than a thousand of us in the US who know the words. George
  10. Dogma Janeane Garafolo Mystery Men George
  11. FYI: For some reason, tonight's Monday Night Football is being shown on the local CW station, so I won't see tonight's Supergirl until Sunday. George
  12. Don't know who's seen the latest LoT, but there was a cute homage to "Back to the Future." Of course, they also had the "Sound of Music" fallacy that "Edelweiss" was a popular German song... George
  13. Sorry, Dude. I got the impression from an earlier post that you were now able to watch things essentially current. I know that, in the past, you've been about a week or two behind, due to the tardiness of shows airing in your neighborhood. George
  14. By now, I'm sure you've seen Adrian Chase on "Arrow." Coincidence? I think not. George
  15. Uma Thurman Final Analysis Richard Gere George
  16. Frank Sinatra The Lady in Cement Raquel Welch George
  17. "The Expendables"? (It's obviously Ahhhnold, and I'm pretty sure he uses that line in one of the Expendables movies; but you could be thinking of another one.) George
  18. Didn't Ted Grant get killed in Arrow a couple of years ago? Maybe he just got severely injured and hasn't shown up, since. I missed the Vigilante nod. I, too, read the series, back in the day. My biggest problem with this season? Supergirl, Gotham, and BBT all on at the same time, and I can only DVR two of them. I'll have to try catching BBT from the CBS website. George
  19. Indeed. I didn't get the opening credits quite right. It doesn't say "Starring a Whole Lot of Actors," It says "Starring Lots of Actors." You're up! George
