  1. Dirty Rotten Scoundrels Steve Martin Pennies from Heaven George
  2. Ok, now Bible scholars in this group. Esther 8:9 Hopefully, someone will get THIS one: Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, and Aerosmith both had hit songs with the same title (though the latter was clearly not a cover of the former). Name those songs. George
  3. Saturn 3 Farrah Fawcett Logan's Run George
  4. She did, but she didn't play the other roles. Bonnie Katt Abigail Adams Sheriff Hildy Grainger Marcy Singer Christmas Snow Leigh Lindsay George
  5. Running Man is correct. Arnold shouts his tag line to game show host Richard Dawson, who doesn't believe Arnold will survive the attackers. Erland van Lidth (de Jeude) was an acquaintance of mine at MIT. (He was actually more of a friend to one of my fraternity brothers, who knew him from the wrestling team. He was also an excellent singer.) He appeared in a few movies before his far too early death. George
  6. That's actually the clue that gave it away. Of course, then, everything else fell into place. New one soon. George
  7. "Killian! I'll be back!" "Only in a rerun. GO!" George
  8. This two-season series featured Danielle Panabaker and Jeri Ryan in major roles, though neither was the star. The actual star kept the show from being cancelled before it even filmed. Known for movie roles but not a TV personality, he was appealing to the producers who wanted someone like him in the role. The actor said it was the first TV role he thought had the depth to interest him. The title character has three rules, to which he refers as his "Cutthroat Manifesto": * "Trial is war. Second place is death." * "Truth is relative. Pick one that works." * "In a jury trial, there are only twelve opinions that matter, and yours (speaking to his team) is not one of them." George
  9. I see "spice," I think Dune. (?) George
  10. Well, I built me a raft and she's ready for floatin' Ol' Mississippi, she's callin' my name. George
  11. Who Framed Roger Rabbit? "I am not an animal! I'm a human being!" George
  12. I believe that's "POTS are cold." Evil Ways (Santana) George
  13. I can "hear" this one, but I'm not getting the title. I'd like to say, "It's the End of the World," but I'm pretty sure that's not it. George
  14. I knew I was lagging on one of these... Name the actress. Bonnie Katt Abigail Adams Sheriff Hildy Grainger George
  15. No, though that Psalm could arguably be called the longest CHAPTER in the Bible. It IS an Old Testament verse. George
  16. No, you didn't miss something. I think I'm up in a different thread. Feel free to ignore my post. George
  17. Robert Davi usually has tough guy roles, sometimes good guy, sometimes bad (as in "Traxx"). As WW pointed out, Priscilla Barnes is best known for "Three's Company," but she's had roles in several movies. Unless Raf wants to jump in, feel free to waive the "three day rule" and google her. George

  19. Ladies of the Chorus The Asphalt Jungle All About Eve George
  20. Iconic props from this movie were stolen and missing for many years. A man was arrested last year (2023) after giving himself up. He had thought that the items were jewel-encrusted and was dismayed that they were only coated with glass. He was not about to admit to the crime then, however. Now he will receive a light sentence due to his advanced age. An accomplice has recently turned up, as well. George
  21. Robert Davi Traxx (I knew I'd get it in, eventually) Priscilla Barnes George
  22. All right. It was the Alou brothers: Felipe, Matty, and Jesus. (FYI, Felipe's son Moises was a six-time NL All-Star, as well.) Leaving baseball, let's try the Bible: Everyone knows that the shortest verse in the Bible (KJV) is John 11:35 ("Jesus wept.") What is the LONGEST verse in the Bible (KJV)? If you don't know the chapter or verse, at least give the book. George
