I suspect that when the name of the show comes out, I may be doing one of these: But right now, I'm not getting it. George

Although you gave two answers, I'll give it to you. John Colicos was Kor, in the original Star Trek, and a couple of DS9 episodes. Christopher Lloyd was Kruge in ST III. George -
Are they still called WB shows, in your neck of the woods? WB and UPN merged years ago to make CW. George

That's fine. Just letting the others know. George

The Flash musical also has some important Supergirl development, so it would be good to be caught up with the latter before watching the former. George

Obviously, I didn't start with the easy ones. Let's add a couple more, before I throw in the giveaways. Cletus Poffenberger Captain Kruge Henry Sikorsky "Sleepy" Bill Burns Harold March Lou Russo George -

If Raf's as big a Helen Slater fan as I think he is, he should know the first half. There's actually a two word overlap in this one. George -
I may have to get Netflix. In the meantime, I actually enjoyed the Flash/Supergirl (with bits of Arrow and Legends) musical crossover! First plus: it was a musical, not an opera, so there was plenty of talking between songs. Second plus: the singing was good. I really enjoyed the Barry/Kara song-and-dance number, "Super-Friends." Third plus: Hank Henshaw in full Martian mode. I wish he had been in the BIG crossover Minus (sort of): Why is every male singer a tenor? (OK, the Joe/Martin/Malcolm trio at least had a baritone.) Minus (sort of): The villain was The Music Meister. If I'm not mistaken, his only other appearance was in a musical episode of the Batman Brave and Bold cartoon... All you laggards: Catch up!!! Not really. It has its moments, but the characters just have no appeal. I'm still watching it, but I'd be surprised if it gets renewed. George

OK. So you don't want Mon-el to be Lar Gand, for some reason. You make his DAD Lar Gand? George Yes, I realize that this may be a (very minor) spoiler to some. At least I haven't talked about Arrow's "big reveal."

It's been around here a BIT longer (1.5 mo. maybe), but I take your point. George

I didn't watch Buffy enough to remember. George

Indeed. A thoroughly enjoyable film. George

Musical episodes are one of the signs of shark-jumping. I was going to add a link to jumptheshark.com, but apparently, it's "boned the fish": http://bonethefish.com/whathappenedtoJTS/JumptheShark.php George

"My name's Richard Grayson, but all the kids at the orphanage call me Dick." "Well, children can be cruel." "Wait, does Batman live in Bruce Wayne's basement?" "No, Bruce Wayne lives in Batman's attic." "You think you're my greatest enemy?" "Who else drives you to one-up them the way I do?" "Superman." "Superman's not a bad guy!" "I like to fight around." "Mr. Freeze, Penguin, Crazy Quilt, Eraser, Polka-Dot Man, Mime, Tarantula, King Tut, Orca, Killer Moth, March Harriet, Zodiac Master, Gentlemen Ghost, Clock King, Calendar Man, Kite Man, Catman, Zebra-Man, and the Condiment King!" "Okay, are you making some of those up?" "Nope, they're all real. Probably worth a Google." "Black. All important movies start with a black screen. And music. Edgy, scary music that would make a parent or studio executive nervous. And logos. Really long and dramatic logos." "What's the password?" "Iron Man sucks." "Why did you build this thing with only one seat?" "Because last I checked I only had one butt." "Were you looking at the old family pictures again?" "No, I wasn't!" "Sir, I have seen you go through similar phases in 2016 and 2012 and 2008 and 2005 and 1997 and 1995 and 1992 and 1989 and that weird one in 1966." "I have aged phenomenally!" George

There were several shows in the 70's with this general idea. "Search" had three rotating private investigators. "NBC Mystery Movie of the Week" brought us Banacek, Columbo, MacMillan and Wife, and others. I'm just not getting the "publishing company" reference, nor who the particular "hottie" was. George

It was a case of mistaken identity. For some reason, I thought that the first Billy Jack movie was "Walking Tall." I believe that the correct answer is "The Born Losers." George
-
I thought the title included the Legend of Billy Jack, though that might have been a sequel. George
-
"Walking Tall"? George

I recognize the last two lines, but I couldn't tell you the title or artist. George
