  1. This movie, set in the Greek islands, features music by Swedish musicians. This is not a sequel. George
  2. I forgot that I'm up. Have one soon. George
  3. Fortunately, your final answer was the correct one. The Jeffersons actually outlasted All in the Family. George
  4. WW answered that one, Human. We're doing his, now: Sonny Wortzik Arthur Kirkland Steve Burns though we could use more names... George
  5. Kevin Costner For Love of the Game Kelly Preston George
  6. James Garner David McCallum Richard Attenborough James Coburn Robert Graf Donald Pleasence George
  7. Do you just remember the quotes, or do you remember the movie they're from? 1 "I don't wanna hurt anybody. I don't enjoy hurting anybody. I don't like guns, or bombs, or electric chairs. But sometimes people just won't listen. And so, I have to use persuasion. And slides. My parents, Sharon and Dave. Generous, doting, or *were they*? All I ever wanted was a Ballerina Barbie. In her pretty pink tutu. My birthday. I was 10, and do you know what they got me? *Malibu* Barbie." 2 "Malibu Barbie." 3 "The nightmare." 2 "The nerve." 1 [flicks to the next slide of her throwing a bared-teeth temper tantrum] "That's not what I wanted! That's not who I was. I was a *ballerina*, graceful, delicate! They had to go." "But what if you met the right man, who worshiped and adored you? Who'd do anything for you? Who'd be your devoted slave? Then what would you do?" "I'd pity him." "You'll meet someone. Someone very special. Someone who won't press charges." 1 "And then Mommy kissed Daddy, and the angel told the stork, and the stork flew down from heaven, and left a diamond under a leaf in the cabbage patch, and the diamond turned into a baby!" 2 "Our parents are having a baby, too." 3 "They had sex." George
  8. Kim Basinger Blind Date John Larroquette George
  9. The goofy rhymes makes me think of "The Benny Hill Show." George
  10. CBS never gave this show a proper series finale. The cast, bitter that they never got a chance to say goodbye, reunited years later for a stage play based on the sitcom. The main star said he found out the show was cancelled by reading about it in the newspaper. Ja'net DuBois sang the show's famous opening theme song, and its closing credits as well. This show, a spin-off of a very popular show, actually ran more seasons and aired more episodes than its progenitor. George
  11. James Garner David McCallum Richard Attenborough George
  12. Wait, wait, wait a minute -- "California Suite"? George
  13. "Umami!" I'm tempted to try "Sweet Home Alabama," but that wasn't an anthology. George

  15. Indeed it is. (40th anniversary of release) One went on to play Mozart. Thomas Hulce One helped Indiana Jones. Karen Allen One played the Emperor (eventually) of the Centauri. Stephen Furst (in Babylon 5) One is known to be linked by seven steps to everyone on the planet. Kevin Bacon One has had a long and successful career in film. His son has had a shorter, but also very successful career in acting (TV and film). Donald Sutherland One died of a drug overdose at age 33. John Belushi One, a former Playboy Playmate, later starred as "Mrs. King"'s nemesis. Martha Smith One was a "Local Hero" as well has being a familiar face in a number of TV series. Peter Riegert You're up! George
  16. The cast of this movie have had interesting careers. For example, One went on to play Mozart. One helped Indiana Jones. One played the Emperor (eventually) of the Centauri. One is known to be linked by seven steps to everyone on the planet. One has had a long and successful career in film. His son has had a shorter, but also very successful career in acting (TV and film). One died of a drug overdose at age 33. One, a former Playboy Playmate, later starred as "Mrs. King"'s nemesis. 17. "The Princess Bride." People kept telling me to watch the film, but it sounded dumb to me. One weekend, though, it seemed as though every station was running TPB continually, so I gave in and watched it. What a great film! George
  18. No, though I know which actor you're keying off. This movie is older and arguably more famous. George
  19. I'm sure I've heard this one. Just not quite clicking, though. George
  20. I guess Human is just "CLUELESS." New one: The cast of this movie have had interesting careers. For example, One went on to play Mozart One helped Indiana Jones One played the Emperor (eventually) of the Centauri. One is known to be linked by seven steps to everyone on the planet. One has had a long and successful career in film. His son has had a shorter, but also very successful career in acting (TV and film). George
  21. Interesting guess, but no. Try again: Let's see if Human can pick up on the clue, lest WW or I have to take it. George
  22. We're back in "Nostalgia Thread" mode again, it would appear. Let's see if Human can pick up on the clue, lest WW or I have to take it. George
  23. I haven't read "Emma." I suspect, however, that WW's last sentence is a clue, and that it's NOT "Dazed and Confused." George
