  2. Wait, wait, wait a minute -- "California Suite"? George
  3. "Umami!" I'm tempted to try "Sweet Home Alabama," but that wasn't an anthology. George
  4. "I don't wanna hurt anybody. I don't enjoy hurting anybody. I don't like guns, or bombs, or electric chairs. But sometimes people just won't listen. And so, I have to use persuasion. And slides." "But what if you met the right man, who worshiped and adored you? Who'd do anything for you? Who'd be your devoted slave? Then what would you do?" "I'd pity him." "You'll meet someone. Someone very special. Someone who won't press charges." George

  6. The cast of this movie have had interesting careers. For example, One went on to play Mozart. One helped Indiana Jones. One played the Emperor (eventually) of the Centauri. One is known to be linked by seven steps to everyone on the planet. One has had a long and successful career in film. His son has had a shorter, but also very successful career in acting (TV and film). One died of a drug overdose at age 33. One, a former Playboy Playmate, later starred as "Mrs. King"'s nemesis. 7. "The Princess Bride." People kept telling me to watch the film, but it sounded dumb to me. One weekend, though, it seemed as though every station was running TPB continually, so I gave in and watched it. What a great film! George
  8. No, though I know which actor you're keying off. This movie is older and arguably more famous. George
  9. I'm sure I've heard this one. Just not quite clicking, though. George
  10. I guess Human is just "CLUELESS." New one: The cast of this movie have had interesting careers. For example, One went on to play Mozart One helped Indiana Jones One played the Emperor (eventually) of the Centauri. One is known to be linked by seven steps to everyone on the planet. One has had a long and successful career in film. His son has had a shorter, but also very successful career in acting (TV and film). George
  11. Interesting guess, but no. Try again: Let's see if Human can pick up on the clue, lest WW or I have to take it. George
  12. We're back in "Nostalgia Thread" mode again, it would appear. Let's see if Human can pick up on the clue, lest WW or I have to take it. George
  13. I haven't read "Emma." I suspect, however, that WW's last sentence is a clue, and that it's NOT "Dazed and Confused." George
  14. I'm not sure I ever saw "Yellow Submarine." I definitely don't remember ANY of the things you described. (Well, I remember George Harrison, but you know what I mean.) George
  15. The fact that TND was another Brosnan JB film doesn't mean that it's the correct one. As it happens, though, it is. George
  16. Again, you need to be a BIT more specific. Who is the madman? How does he plan world domination? George
  17. All fascinating, but not really helpful. (not germane, but I see we've added a new emoji) George
  18. In that case, Leo DiCaprio The Man in the Iron Mask John Malkovich George
  19. If it were possible, I'd give you half credit, but I'm afraid you're going to have to be more specific. If you don't remember the title, what was the plot? George
  20. "Do you know I used to look in the papers every day for your obituary?" "Well, I'm sorry I keep disappointing you." "Ah, Stamper! Stop yelling in my ear, ja?" "Sir, they can't get into the car." "Oh, you can't be serious. Did you call the Auto Club?" "Do *you* want to call them? Make him tell you how to open it." "O-O-Okay. Ja, I ask." "Good morning, my golden retrievers. What kind of havoc shall the Carver Media Group create in the world today? News?" "Floods in Pakistan, riots in Paris, and a plane crash in California." "Outstanding!" "The distance between insanity and genius is measured only by success." "It's the insurance damage waiver for your beautiful new car. Now, will you need collision coverage?" "Yes. "Fire?" "Probably." "Property destruction?" "Definitely." "Personal Injury?" "I hope not, but accidents do happen." "Well, that takes care of the normal wear-and-tear. Is there any other protection I need?" "I believe you have two things that belong to me!" "What are you talking about?" "The encoder, in the dash of your car...and my wife, in your hotel room!" George
  21. That's correct. I think the "David" Banner was used on TV because "Bruce" sounded gay. One might then ask about Bruce Wayne, but (A) he was around decades longer, and (B) there WERE accusations (Seduction of the Innocent) that his affection for Dick might not have been wholly platonic. Anyway, I don't think that Ruffalo or Bana actually played the Hulk, either, as those were CGI insertions. Human had the right idea, but I'm giving it to WW. George
  22. Presumably this is not the 1968 R&J? George
  23. Apparently, but I can't name one. George
