  1. I've seen both movies. I do remember Jeremy in Orgazmo. An IMDb search of Boogie Nights does indeed show Nina Hartley, Tony Tedeschi and Veronica Hart, but you have to dig pretty deep. I might have tossed in at least Heather Graham, if not Julianne Moore or Burt Reynolds. Ummm...am I up? George
  2. They're all porn stars (and I think it's Chaisey Lain). Unfortunately, the only "serious" movies of that genre that I can think of, Last Tango in Paris, The Devil in Miss Jones, Behind the Green Door, and maybe Boogie Nights feature none of those actors. I've seen most of them in various Cinemax or Showtime features, but no single movie stands out. George
  3. Ray Walston Judge Reinhold Forrest Whitaker George
  4. Both Batwoman and Supergirl ended with the same teaser: Nash Wells confronting the Monitor and being transformed (presumably into Pariah). I wonder if, as in the comic series, all of the CW-verses will be merged, so Supergirl, Batwoman, and Black Lightning will be on the same Earth as Flash and Arrow. Incidentally, that would also include the Superman/Lois Lane show now in production. George
  5. Actually, I saw the old "Bad Boys," not the newer one, so the Will Smith/Martin Lawrence clue didn't resonate. George
  6. What happens if there are no guesses? Do you add more actors/movies? George
  7. Though I can think of a number of Clint Howard appearances, the only character with name recognition would have been Balok. Now the REALLY easy ones: Marshal Jed Cooper Blondie Jonathan Hemlock Ben Shockley Mitchell Gant Red Stovall Wes Block Tommy Nowak Frank Horrigan Frank Corvin Frankie Dunn Walt Kowalski Rowdy Yates Philo Beddoe Thomas Highway Harry Callahan Josey Wales Bronco Billy George
  8. Brokeback Mountain Randy Quaid The Long Riders George
  9. It was, indeed. As well as two Darrins, there were two Louise Tates and two Gladys Kravitzes. There were also several Tabithas (various sets of twins). And the comparison was Samantha v. Jeannie. (Again, the correct answer is BOTH.) Lyrics to "Bewitched": Bewitched, bewitched, you've got me in your spell. Bewitched, bewitched, you know your craft so well. Before I knew what you were doing I looked in your eyes. That brand of woo that you've been brew-in' took me by surprise. You witch, you witch, one thing that's for sure, That stuff you pitch - just hasn't got a cure. My heart was under lock and key, but somehow it got unhitched. I never thought my heart could be had. But now I'm caught and I'm kind of glad to be Bewitched. Bewitched-witched. George
  10. The show's theme song was composed by Jack Keller, and had lyrics written by Howard Greenfield that were never used on the show. Several artists recorded versions of the song, including Steve Lawrence and Peggy Lee. At one time, the producers of the show considered using a song from the Rodgers & Hart musical "Pal Joey" as the show's theme song, but ultimately decided to use an original song instead. (Probably because of the enormous amount of money it would have taken to obtain the music rights to use the Rodgers & Hart tune.) The main character is often compared with the main character of another show in the way Mary Ann and Ginger were: "Would you rather have Mary Ann or Ginger?" (My choice was always Mary Ann AND Ginger. And maybe Mrs. Howell.) One of the stars had to leave the show after five seasons because of a back injury he sustained while filming a movie years earlier, He was replaced by another actor playing the same character. In fact, THREE different characters had two different actors portray them during the show. George
  11. Okay. I have seen it a couple of times. George
  12. Is he (Are you) Smarter than a Fifth Grader? George
  13. Almost every one now will be obvious. I'll try to pick some maybe not AS obvious. Marshal Jed Cooper Blondie Jonathan Hemlock Ben Shockley Mitchell Gant Red Stovall Wes Block Tommy Nowak Frank Horrigan Frank Corvin Frankie Dunn Walt Kowalski Rowdy Yates Philo Beddoe Thomas Highway George
  14. The apple clue does not help. I'm fairly certain I haven't SEEN this show. I may not have even HEARD OF it. George
  15. Well, ONE obvious question would be, what game show would have some very intelligent men and a Muppet as contestants? (I have no idea how bright Gene Simmons really is. He was smart enough to catch Shannon Tweed...) George
  16. On the other hand, that ALSO predates Howard Stern. I dunno, George
  17. Harrison Ford I presume we don't have to alternate between actors and movies, but here are three actors; name the movie Edward James Olmos Cameron Diaz Tom Wilkinson George
  18. Not having ever listened to HS, I really had no idea. I did think it was a long shot. George
