  1. How could I forget Colleen Camp as Yvette? The other quote seemed to fit, too. Was it an exchange between Martin Mull and Tim Curry? George
  2. Most of the DCU starts the week of Oct. 5. Arrow starts a couple of weeks later. Legends starts midseason. (So will they be in the crossover?) Marvel will be running a sitcom starring Scarlet Witch and Vision, but it will be streaming on Disney+. Agents of SHIELD is over, as are the Netflix Marvel shows. George
  3. Well, apparently Krypton has been cancelled. I guess we'll never know what happens with Brainiac and baby Jor-El. Lobo spinoff on hold, too. George
  4. But was it the original AAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! Or AAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! 2 Or AAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! 3 Or AAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! 4? George
  5. I think it's "The In Crowd," but I don't remember the performer. George Benson, maybe? George
  6. Monster's Ball Heath Ledger Brokeback Mountain George
  7. Yes. I suppose his features (especially the prominent cheekbones) found him a number of roles as an Indian. He was Paris for a couple of seasons on Mission Impossible and had a recurring role as William Bell on Fringe. George
  8. Krypton has come and gone (this season). Nice use of Brainiac, Lobo, and Doomsday (and Black Mercy). Zod as Seg-El's son (and, therefore, Superman's uncle) is bizarre. We DID see a VERY young Jor-El. The moon (Wegthor) blows up. Other than some fragment impacts, not much effect on Krypton (which seems unrealistic, even with suspension of disbelief). All in all, it's not a bad show, but I don't think it's great. At least, it's not much fun to watch. Like Riverdale, in that respect.

  10. Sorry. The threads got confused. That was the correct film, though. I think I had originally planned to use quotes, and then inadvertently got into the trivia section... George
  11. Let's see. Not many to choose from, there... Josh Brolin W Richard Dreyfuss George
  12. It is none of those men. Paul "Monk" Baroni Professor Cole Dr. David Kibner Galvatron ("The Great") Paris Dr. William Bell He's played himself on the Simpsons, and his head on Futurama. Also note that I said he was NOT Native American, though he often portrayed them. George
  13. He was a voice actor in that Transformers movie, live in all of the other selections. Two of the roles on the list were recurring roles in popular TV shows. (He had one recurring role in a show which all of you would recognize immediately, so I'm saving it.) He has had guest-starring roles in dozens of TV shows, often different roles on different episodes of the same show. Not a Native American, he often portrayed them (when it wasn't considered inappropriate to do so). Though he has appeared in several movies, most of his work is from television. George
  14. The film is based on the novel of the same name. The novel is the first part of a trilogy by Kevin Kwan. Tyersall Park, Nick's grandmother's home, is actually in Kuala Lumpur. Per The Hollywood Reporter: "Tyersall Park, the mansion of the Young family matriarch, was created out of two abandoned Malaysian government-owned buildings in Kuala Lumpur. The jungle had started to take over, floors had collapsed, there was monkey poop and bat populations," says production designer Nelson Coates, who stripped out carpeting, stenciled the floors to look like expensive tile, and found a local muralist to create leafy graphics for the walls. As of October 2018, the film had grossed over $235 million worldwide, making it the highest-grossing romantic comedy in a decade. George
  15. This movie was actually renowned for its sound track I Heard It Through the Grapevine You Can't Always Get What You Want Joy to the World Good Lovin' My Girl Ain't Too Proud to Beg Natural Woman A Whiter Shade of Pale Let's add some of the cast: William Hurt Kevin Kline Meg Tilly JoBeth Williams George
  16. Name the actor Paul "Monk" Baroni Professor Cole Dr. David Kibner Galvatron ("The Great") Paris Dr. William Bell George
  17. The other RR movie I know is "Bedtime for Bonzo," and I couldn't name another actor in it. George
  18. Sounds like a very good guess. George
  19. That's what I thought, too, which is why I hid it amongst a bunch of other names. Douglas is 102, even though he had a fairly major stroke over twenty years ago. George
  20. Undoubtedly this show shares a name with another show, which probably involved animation. Not enough yet for me to make a guess. George
