  1. I'm not sure of the movie characters, but we seem to have made Human disappear... George
  2. I'll take Obscure Game Shows for 1000, Alex. George
  3. Car 54 Where Are You? David Johansen Scrooged George
  4. The question mark means I'm not sure... George
  5. The sad thing is, I've probably seen a couple of these (not the British ones). Tickling the back of my memory... George
  6. "Young Girl," by Gary Puckett and the Union Gap? George
  7. I presume that this is an actual plotted movie, not a compilation like "That's Entertainment, Part II." George
  8. I do remember the title. I don't think I saw the movie. That's why we keep Raf around. George
  9. Not super-hero, but comic book, anyway. How do you handle the death of an actor in a series? If it's one of the main stars, maybe you find another actor to play the part. If it's a continuing role, but not absolutely necessary, you can have the character "leave town" or "die." I'm sure that the death of Luke Perry caught the Riverdale folks by surprise, but I think they did a great job with the tribute to "Fred Andrews." I suspect that a lot of the tears were real, as the cast was quite fond of Perry. George
  10. Batwoman: two stars (out of five). Good filmography, moderately interesting supporting cast. Interesting that Batwoman's fighting style seems to be mostly brawling, rather than some of the more picturesque fighting on, say, Arrow. I wonder if that's intentional. I could stand a LITTLE less lesbianism. Maybe they've made their point in the first episode and will tone it down in the future. We'll see. Flash: 4.5 stars. I love the show. It's interesting that the Monitor states unequivocally when the "Crisis" will occur. (It just happens to be the date of the crossover on TV.) New villains introduced: we'll have to see if they wind up in the Crisis or are just plot devices in the meantime. Black Lightning: three stars. I like the characters. I just can never seem to figure out where the story arc is headed. Supergirl: 4 stars. I don't like the changes at Catco, but the other plot elements are solid. Supergirl's new hairdo: Good. New costume: not so much. My favorite line from the first episode: "How do you all change so FAST?" George
  11. I suspect that I'll recognize the title when I see it, but nothing about this movie seems familiar. Incidentally, although both my eyes work fine, for reasons I won't go into here, I only use one at a time. So 3-D effects are lost on me (as are those "Magic Eye" hidden pictures which were popular a couple of decades ago). George
  12. No idea yet, unless (D) is The Newlywed Game. George
  13. And the real space shuttle was named after the fake ship Enterprise. You're up! George
  14. Actually, I thought you meant all the later Jackie Gleason episodes as part of the "long time." Anyway, This "prequel" series lasted one season longer than the original. The opening credits are for a show about a fake ship, named after a real ship, which is named after a fake ship, that is named after the fake ship, for which the show is named. George
  15. I'll admit, I haven't see F13 since it came out. I assume that Raf has been waiting for us to quit battling before declaring you the winner. George
  16. The Honeymooners "To the moon, Alice! TO THE MOON!!!" George
  17. OK, but he was clearly present as an adult when he was killing the campers. George
  18. But Jason wasn't just a young child in the first F13, and was present a lot. All of the goofy stuff, though, COULD have happened in F13-3, which, as I recall, was in 3-D. And, there aren't a lot of franchises out there with ten or more installments. George
  19. That one and Sugar Kane Kowalczyk from "Some Like it Hot" would have been the only two I would have recognized.
  20. Actually, two other shows come to mind. I doubt it's "My Mother the Car" since the unseen star was a woman. "Mr. Ed"? (Obviously, the horse was onscreen, but not his voice actor.) George
  21. I doubt that any further additions will help (although this actress is QUITE famous), but Angela Phinlay Miss Casswell Roberta ("Bobbie") Stevens Lois Laurel Rose Loomis Lorelei Lee Pola Debevoise Vicky Parker Cherie Amanda Dell Roslyn Taber Sugar Kane Kowalczyk Kay Weston Ellen Arden Nell Forbes Peggy Martin Iris Martin Joyce Mannering Nell Forbes Annabelle Jones Norris Elsie George
