  1. Carole Stanwyck and Sydney Kovak have nothing in common; they are the polar opposites of one another. Carole is a former socialite, who lost her fortune and is now making a living as a photographer and a courier. Sydney's father's a con-man, so she knows her way around the streets. She is also a pick pocket and a jazz bass player. The only thing that they have in common is the fact that they were both married Raymond Caulfield, a private investigator. When he was killed he left everything including his agency to them. After apprehending the one who killed him, they decided to run the agency themselves. In "previous lives," Carole worked for military intelligence, and Sydney worked for a radio station. George
  2. Amazon Women on the Moon Robert Picardo Star Trek: First Contact George
  3. Was that the one with Bette Midler and Shelley Long? George
  4. "It's Still Rock and Roll to Me" by Billy Joel? George
  5. I'd be interested to see what you thought it was. George
  6. And Lucifer is on Earth 666. George
  7. This is pretty much the whole summary from IMDb: Carole Stanwyck and Sydney Kovak have nothing in common; they are the polar opposites of one another. 8. It should, indeed. It has to be Wonder Woman. I assume the "spin-off" actress is Debra Winger (Wonder Girl). The lead actor of the other franchise was probably Chris Reeve. George
  9. Sorry, though I would have almost considered it a given. I do recommend watching the "Crisis Aftermath" shows. They don't give any future things away (other than the non-Crisis-related Stargirl series to debut this spring), but they do have some nice takes on things already revealed. George
  10. Although I've seen The Princess Bride numerous times, I've only seen Forrest Gump once. I don't remember RWP from it, or from Wonder Woman, which I have seen a few times. I think I saw Unbreakable, but I haven't seen Beowulf. So, not a drop kick for me. Good for Human. George
  11. I don't even have a fluid guess. George
  12. Well, yeah. The female lead was in a few other movies around that time, and a more iconic actor had a small role near the end of the film. Nice to "see" you again, Human. Where ya been? George
  13. Again, not real spoilers: Lucifer (from the TV show) is apparently part of the continuity; Cisco annoyed that he didn't get to name the Anti-Monitor. George
  14. If not (B), then is (F) Big Brother? George
  15. Another well done episode. And a nice, nostalgic clip from a 1990 show. Too bad we have to wait a few weeks for the finale. George
  16. No spoiler here, but some points from Episode 2 I enjoyed: Seeing Tom Welling again. His Smallville really launched the Arrowverse. Actually seeing Kevin Conroy. He's been the cartoon voice for Batman for over a decade, but I've never SEEN him before. Most of the "Easter Eggs" were quotes from old (and not so old) Superman and Batman movies. FYI. Black Lightning, while not technically a crossover episode, was what we would have called a "Crisis Tie-In." You may want to include it in your CoIE viewing. George
  17. Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me Michael York Logan's Run George
  18. I agree that we need to let everyone catch up. Do we discuss after the first three episodes, or do we wait until the conclusion in January? George
  19. Enjoyed episode 1 (Supergirl) of CoIE. Cute cameos with Robert Wuhl and Burt Ward. Episode 2 (Batwoman) tonight. New Black Lightning tonight, but it's not part of CoIE. I guess that that will be in January. There was also a "Crisis Aftermath" special, after the SG episode. I've recorded it but haven't seen it. George
  20. Charlie's Angels Bill Murray Groundhog Day George
  21. No, it was a western, featuring several sets of actor brothers (three Carradines, two Quaids, two Keaches, and two Guests). That should help. George
  22. I vaguely remember the show, but I can't remember the title. George
  23. Well, CoIE starts this Sunday. An interesting article about the history and logistics of the crossover can be found here: Crisis Info (no teasers!) George
  24. Raf's post somehow escaped my notice (right before the page break, I think). Anyway, yes, Belushi and Aykroyd. George
