  1. Sadly, there's not that much about this show on the internet. One last rephrasing: Carole Stanwyck and Sydney Kovak have nothing in common; they are the polar opposites of one another. Carole is a former socialite, who lost her fortune and is now making a living as a photographer and a courier. Sydney's father's a con-man, so she knows her way around the streets. She is also a pick pocket and a jazz bass player. The only thing that they have in common is the fact that they were both married Raymond Caulfield, a private investigator. When he was killed he left everything including his agency to them. After apprehending the one who killed him, they decided to run the agency themselves. In previous roles, the actress who played Carole worked for military intelligence and later for the IADC, and the actress who played Sydney worked for a radio station in Ohio. With these two stars, It's hard to see why the show only lasted one season. Maybe they needed a redhead to round out the team. Overseas, the title was Fifty/Fifty, to avoid confusion with a concurrent Agatha Christie show with a similar name. George

  4. Well, see, they could have had fairly small roles in any of the LotR films, and I wouldn't know it. I'm spitballing, here. Maybe Raf knows and is keeping mum. I'm pretty sure Human would jump in if he knew the answer. Assuming they're following this thread -- MERRY CHRISTMAS, GUYS! George
  5. Having recently seen a couple of Sherlock episodes, I could now recognize Martin Freeman. With Elijah Wood (I'm pretty sure this isn't Sin City), I'll guess it's a Lord of the Rings movie, maybe Fellowship of the Ring? George

  7. Since no one won, I'll go ahead. "Arrogance and fear still keep you from learning the simplest and most significant lesson of all." "Which is?" "It's not about you." "Well, what's this? My mantra?" "The Wi-Fi password. We're not savages." "How's your Sanskrit?" "I'm fluent in Google Translate." George
  8. That was a tough one, because other than Silent Bob and Jay, most of the actors are unknowns. Jason Mewes Chasing Amy Ben Affleck George
  9. LOL. Unfortunately, with out at least googling photos, I have no idea who two of the actors are. The only films I've seen Cumberbatch in are Star Trek: Into Darkness and his Dr. Strange appearances. Just for giggles, I'll try Dr. Strange George
  10. So, do we talk about it, now? As an aside, the final few episodes of Watchmen were very good. (As a further aside, the final issue of DC's Doomsday Clock is finally out. I've picked it up but haven't read it yet.) George
