  1. As Good As It Gets (?) I think Nicholson and Hunt won awards, and she's a lot younger than he is. George
  2. I was thinking more in the lines of "taking the form of a man" like Starman or My Stepmother is an Alien. Now, it could be almost ANY alien: ET, Predator, Close Encounter aliens. George
  3. It's also quite possible that neither Raf nor WW knows the answer. I'm just the only one who SAID he doesn't know the answer. George
  4. That first part seems pretty familiar, but I'm not getting it. I'm afraid my memory just isn't what it used to be. George
  5. The Freedonia/Sylvania thing sounds familiar. I'm sure I could get the first half if I could get the latter. George
  6. Again, not helpful. Even if I knew Affleck's brother, I'd also have to know another movie he's in. Tomorrow, however, makes three days... George
  7. Ah. I have no idea whom he was dating. George
  8. I realize that there are a lot of great movies, and we can't see them all, but this one was a classic. I highly recommend it. George
  9. I watched Joker, but I don't remember who played his girlfriend. I can picture her, but I don't think she's well-known. George
  10. See how easy that was? Of course, not having seen the movie, Raf wouldn't know what the scene involved. In a celebration after the defeat of the Nazis, a Russian general (through his interpreter) asked if Patton would join him in a drink. Patton's response, "I'm not drinking with any Russian son of a b-tch." The interpreter was loathe to relay that message, but Patton insisted. The Russian replied that he thought Patton was a son of a b-tch, as well. Patton laughed and said he WOULD drink, as "one son of a b-tch with another." George
  11. Jack Thornton Christian Peter Warne Duke Bradley Chris Hunter Gerald Meldrick George
  12. Finally, I remembered that Loveless was the villain in "The Wild, Wild West" movie. Kenneth Branagh? George
  13. The historical figures I recognize, of course, but Dr. Loveless, Guy Pringle, and Kurt Wallander all seem very familiar. I just can't place them. George
  14. Obviously a vampire film. Pretty sure it's not the Lugosi "Dracula," but I'm otherwise bereft of ideas. Maybe "Van Helsing"? George
  15. The movie will be obvious. What was happening in this scene (or really, just prior to it)? George
  16. I suspect that WW was recalling the "Look on the Bright Side of Life" crucifixion scene in Life of Brian. But that wasn't Garfunkel singing. Still not getting the ACTUAL movie. George
  17. This is the same movie as your previous clue? George
  18. I'll go with the Poirot I know: Peter Ustinov? George
  19. I can "hear" a solo male voice singing this, and even get most of the melody, but I can't think of the singer or title. George
