It's not George Lazenby. I would have thought that OHMSS, along with TGMC would have given it to you. Who's the OTHER star of OHMSS? George

This is a pre-1970 TV show (just to narrow the field a bit). As the two main actors were essentially co-stars, the show had two sets of opening credits, one with one actor listed first, one with the other. The choice of which one to use seems rather random, not indicating which actor had a larger role in the episode. Although Pierre Jalbert had been employed at MGM for nearly a decade, he had no actual acting experience prior to being cast in a supporting role on the series. Up to that time his job at MGM had been in the capacity of a technician in the film editing department. A feature-film adaptation of the series was planned, with Bruce Willis in the lead as the lead, but the film never materialized. One of the stars died in 1982, during filming of a movie based on another famous TV series. The lead characters were almost always called by their last names and almost never called by their first names, though one was "Chip" and the other, "Gil." "Chip" was obviously a nickname, but no other first name (e.g., Charles) was mentioned. George

Mr. Wolf is up. George -
Swamp Thing is OK. Only two episodes in, and we've already met Dan Cassidy (pre-Blue Devil) and Jason Woodrue (pre-Floronic Man). I believe they only filmed one season, so it will be interesting to see how far it gets. George

CORRECTION: This movie has had two sequels, perhaps better thought of as remakes. I consider them sequels, because the actor who played the title role in this movie played the UNCLE of the title role in the second film and the GREAT UNCLE of the title role in the third. (And, yes, the actor who played the title role in the second played the father of the title role in the third. One, big, happy family.) This (i.e., the first) movie aired in 1971. The other two were in 2000 and 2019. An actor/musician auditioned for the lead role. He didn't get it, but he did write the score for the film. The theme song was a BIG hit. He was the first African American to win and Academy Award for Best Song. This was one of only three MGM movies in this particular year which turned a profit and helped keep the studio out of bankruptcy. Much of the action centers around 125th Street in Harlem. The exterior of the lead character's apartment was at 55 Jane Street, in Greenwich Village, across the street from the (real) "No Name Bar" at 621 Hudson Street. The bar later became a deli. The character "Bumpy Jonas" was based on Bumpy Johnson, an African American mobster in the 30's. George

"This is Bobbi. You won't see me anymore, so I thought I'd have a little session with your machine. Oh Doctor, I'm so unhappy. I'm a woman trapped inside a man's body - and you're not helping me to get out! So I got a new shrink, Levy's his name, he's gonna sign the papers so I can get my operation. Oh... I borrowed your razor... and - well, you'll read all about it. Some blonde bitch saw me, but I'll get her." "Maybe there's something wrong with me." "There's nothing wrong with you." "Do you find me attractive?" "Of course." "Would you want to sleep with me?" "Yes." "Then why don't you?" "Because I love my wife, and sleeping with you isn't worth jeopardizing my marriage. Is it worth it to you?" "I don't know." "How are things going with you and Mike?" "Fine." "Good." "No, they're not fine. What a stupid word that is. He gave me one of his wham-bang specials today and I'm mad at him. Isn't that right? Shouldn't I be mad at him?" "Yeah. Did you tell him?" "Of course not. I moaned with pleasure at his touch - isn't that what every man wants?" "I don't know. Is it?" "Don't start that stuff with me." "Don't make me be a bad girl again!" "Doctor, I am not paranoid. Bobbi was making threats over the phone. She said she's going to hurt me. My patient was slashed to death. And now my razor is gone. Now you don't have to be a detective to figure it out, do you?" "Look, Liz, I've got to get home and get to work." "Gee, I'm gonna miss having you on my tail. You made me feel kind of safe." "Want to come home with me? I'd love the company." "Wouldn't Mike mind?" "Mike's out of town on a business trip. We've got plenty of room." "Great. I could sure use the vacation." "Good, good. I'll get the check." "Thank god, straight fu-ks are still in style! " 1: "I'm sorry, am I bothering you?" 2: "Naw, you ain't bothering me." 3: "But you're bothering ME." 2: "You say she's bothering you?" 3: "That's right, this b-tch is bothering me." 2: "Well, what you gonna do 'bout that?" 3: "I'm gonna kick her a-s." George (These are all the quotes on IMDb. It's a 1980 film, if that helps.)
