  1. I got it from Jeremiah Johnson, though I first though "Roy Loomis" was his character in "The Natural." That was "Roy Hobbs," though. George
  2. I presume that Raf's capitalization is not by accident. It, however, leads me no closer to the answer. George
  3. White Rabbit A little more than one line, just to make sure you can remember it: "Well, gonna write a little letter Gonna mail it to my local DJ It's a rockin' little record I want my jockey to play" George
  4. I remember that Bowie was in "The Man Who Fell to Earth." Is that it? As to Raf's comment, Zelda, Zorro, Bagger Vance, and Sleepy Hollow are preceded by "Legend of" George
  5. I Am a Rock "Father MacKenzie, writing the words of a sermon that no one will hear" George
  6. I'm pretty sure it's an 80s tune, but I can't think of the title. George
  7. I know that David Bowie changed his name to avoid the Davy Jones confusion, but I can't remember a movie he starred in. I predict a in my future. George
  8. "Roy Loomis" sounds familiar. Jimmy Stewart? George
  9. No. Right time frame, though. Slightly earlier, actually. George
  10. A little obscure for this thread, but Werewolves of London. "Walking through forests of palm tree apartments Scoff at the monkeys who live in their dark tents." George
  11. It was (or, ratherm is) indeed. She starred in "The Legend of Walks Far Woman," "Hannie Caulder," "Myra Breckenridge," and "Fathom." As well, she was Loana in "One Million Years BC," Lilian Lust in "Bedazzled," and was "Jugs" in "Mother, Jugs, and Speed." WW is up. George
  12. The initial version of this show set a new record at the time - for the lowest ratings for a pilot. A re-edited version that featured two of the stars' original screen tests at the beginning scored one of the highest test ratings ever. Of the four stars, only two participated in all 58 episodes. One was written out of an episode so he could attend his sister's wedding; another was written out of three episodes; one while he recovered from a tonsillectomy, one when his son Jonathan was born, and one to make a family trip. Frank Zappa and Liberace appeared on separate episodes of the show. What they had in common was a golden sledgehammer. Liberace used it on his piano; Zappa on a car. One of the stars had been "Corky, the Circus Boy" on the show Circus Boy, in the late 50s. George
  13. Actually, this actress is old enough to be Johansson's grandmother. Most of the roles listed were from 60's and 70's movies. George
  14. Christina Applegate Mars Attacks! Jim Brown George
  15. No one remembers "These Boots Are Made for Walking"? Try this one: "Jojo was a man who thought he was a loner..." George
  16. Men in Black Linda Fiorentino Vison Quest George
  17. Let's add some characters in the title of the movies: Cora Peterson Loana Lilian Lust Kit Forrest Priestess of the Whip KC Carr Det. Eileen McHenry Constance de Bonacieux Dianna Brock Mrs. Windham Vandermark Walks Far Woman Myra Breckenridge Fathom Harville Hannie Caulder "Jugs" George
  18. Danielle Panabaker might not have been born when The Big Chill was filmed, anyway... George
  19. I'm pretty sure WW is correct with "My Blue Heaven." The merengue sequence with Steve Martin and Rick Moranis is a favorite of mine. I've never seen "Goodfellas," so any witness protection reference would have been lost on me. "You don't tip federal agents! "Of course you do!" George
  20. One of them could be "Very Bad Things," which involves a wedding, but I can't think of a prequel OR a sequel to it. George
