I'll still need more. You may have recommended it before, but I clearly did not take you up on it. George

I know the Larroquette played Sir Galahad on The Librarians. I could envision the others in that role. George -

songs remembered from just one line

I've heard the line slightly differently, so that's why I wasn't sure. Not the first line (which is the title): "Think of me, Babe, whenever some sweet-talking girl comes around..." George -
Sounds like it might be a cartoon with a bunch of animal characters (requiring voice actors, but no actual words). Even if I'm on the right track, I'm at a loss to guess what it is. George

It is. Cavill was filming a Mission Impossible film, and they wouldn't let him shave his moustache. (At least they didn't just cover it with makeup as they did Cesar Romero's during the Batman TV show...) Gadot was pregnant. Only Momoa figured it out. The long version was a lot grittier. I don't think I like it as much as the theatrical version. George

Two versions of this movie are available. The theatrical release is shorter and has several light elements to counter the action/drama. The version released on video and streaming services is much longer, has virtually no lightness, and actually has a significantly different plot. This movie was initially going to be split into two parts, with an alleged singular continuing story line. But by the time filming was under way, the idea of the film being in two parts seemed to have quietly gone away. One of the stars was pregnant during the latter part of filming, but only one of the co-stars guessed it. When the film was shown in Iceland (which uses subtitles rather than dub for films with non-Icelandic languages), ome star's pronunciation of his single line of Icelandic was deemed so unintelligible that it had to be subtitled into Icelandic (often resulting in a big laugh by the audience). Extensive reshoots in London and Los Angeles added a cost of approximately $25 million to the film's budget. One star worked on the reshoots and a different movie at the same time. He had to sport a moustache for his role in the latter project, however Paramount refused to let the actor shave it off to play his character in the reshoots. This meant that his facial hair had to be digitally removed in post-production. However, due to a tight schedule, the results were crude and were among the many criticisms of the theatrical version of the film. A TV-movie of these characters was filmed 20 years earlier. Another script was bandied about ten years after that but was shelved. George

Well, back then I was living in the Chicago area, so, country, no. Bumpkin, probably. George -

I think I've heard of this song, but am definitely not familiar enough with it, especially for this thread. Again, we all have different tastes and backgrounds. Songs that played nonstop in Chicago might have hardly been played at all in Miami, etc. The main difference between this thread and "Name That Tune" is that it's okay to be challenging on the other thread (though with only four of us playing that can grind to a halt quickly). If no one gets it in THIS thread, the POSTER hasn't done his job. George -
That's one I don't recognize at all. Remember that we don't want album cuts but rather songs that made it on the air. (This on may have; I just don't remember it.) George

There were literally thousands of songs that had a lot of airplay in the 60s and 70s. Whereas songs from those years are probably more memorable to me, not all of them are, not by a long shot. It's possible that when you post the title of this song, it will be something I remember; but I'm not getting it from the lyrics. This is presumably a Simon and Garfunkel song (considering your BoTW reference), but I don't recognize it. The same with the Beatles' song in the other music thread. George

Nothing. Sorry. George

Naomi may actually be OK. It seems "Arrowverse-adjacent," in that DC super-heroes are involved, but not in the same way as in other CW shows. E.g., Superman is an urban legend. He does exist but does not operate openly. One of the main characters is Thanagarian. The third episode introduced Adam Blake. It took me a few seconds to remember that that's Captain Comet, though this version seems to be more of a telepathic hippie. George
