I knew four people who committed suicide. ALL of them had been associated with TWI at one time or another. One of them was totally screwed by TWI. He was offered a job at HQ, so he quit his lucrative legal profession, only to find out when he got there that they reneged. He killed himself from despair a few months later. The others' suicides were less directly due to TWI, but I'm sure the guilt over "not believing God enough" was a factor in all of them. George

Name that Actor/Actress (or Role)

I might have gotten it from two of the other roles, but as delightful as this actress is, she's not that well-known. I could have gone with another half-dozen obscure roles. I'm sure WW will got this one, too, though Human might still be stumped. George -

Rudd was Ant-Man, but Boseman was Black Panther. So, it's either one of the Thanos films or Captain America: Civil War (?) George

Stargirl returns next week. Though there was some Eclipso foreshadowing last season, it appears that the villain will be the Shade. "Green Lantern's daughter" (Jade?) will be around, along with some version of Jakeem Thunder/Thunderbolt. George

I'm four episodes into Titans, and I'm enjoying it. Either I was misinformed about the levels of violence and profanity or it's been nicely cleaned up for broadcast TV. The most recent episode features the Doom Patrol prior to their own series. It explains why Gar is with the Titans instead of the DP. So far, the group (still informally attached) comprises Nightwing, Starfire, Raven, and Beast Boy, with some appearances by Hawk and Dove. Ads for the show indicate that a number of others will be added (Wonder Girl, Superboy -- probably Conner, and Cyborg). I'd say I can't wait for that, but I guess I can, or I'd binge the show on HBOMax. George

The only movies I can recall the term "shag" being used are Shag (about the dance style) and the Austin Powers movies. This has an AP feel, but I can't remember such a scene. George

If this refers to a "I'm not dead yet" line, then it's a Monty Python actor. Eric Idle? George
