This was a novelty parody of an old tune: A'took the foot bridge, way 'cross the water Though she weighed two-ninety nine The old bridge trembled and disassembled (Oops!) dumped her into the foamy brine George

Neither Nora was really evil, just doing what they thought best (but not what Barry thought best). George

Nope, only one of them. Let's add a couple of movies. My Blue Heaven Addams Family Values School of Rock Class Working Girl Mister Wrong George

Are you referring to Speed Force "Nora" or Barry and Iris's kid Nora? Both were evil for a time. George

Tropics pretty quiet now. I doubt we'll have any serious threats the remainder of the year. George

I was unaware of the early sequel. You are correct. Did you get it because I also posted it in "Name That Flick"? (Or maybe the other way around?) George

As I said, familiar, but not too familiar. George

No. He was in only one of the films. George

Stargirl has been interesting. (Apparently, Lou Ferrigno has graduated from the Hulk to Solomon Grundy.) A friend of mine pointed out how DARK (visually) it is. I imagine that's because Eclipso has been causing bad weather, but the few sunlight scenes are almost jarring by comparison. Supergirl has gotten a little more preachy than it was (which was somewhat preachy, anyway). Also, the plot line seems rather mundane for a final season. John Diggle's appearances on Batwoman and Supergirl seem only to provide emotional support to other black characters. It's a little odd. George

"Drive carefully. And don't forget to fasten your condom." "Dad!" "Seat belt! I meant, I meant seat belt." "This was the moment I'd been dreading for the past six months. Well, actually for the past 22 years." [voice-over] "I thought maybe I should help smooth things over. So I took Bryan out for a drink. Thought we could have a talk, man-to-man. But as I sat there and listened to his side of the story... I realized this was a golden opportunity. If I ever wanted to get rid of Bryan MacKenzie, this was my chance." "You know those banana shakes she likes to make, right? Well, that's why I thought she'd like a blender. I guess I can see her point. I mean, a blender does suggest a certain... reference to sexual politics, but... I swear, it never entered my consciousness at the time." "I believe you." George

This movie was a remake of one from about 40 years earlier. One actor appeared in both versions. He played the same character. The earlier movie was his acting debut; this one was his last movie. One character is afraid of being bankrupted, forced to wander the streets in a bathrobe. This actually does happen to the same actor in another movie. This movie spawned a sequel. (The original did not.) One of the actors and one of the actresses portray an engaged couple through most of the movie. Relative unknowns, this was her first film. The two did appear together in a number of Hallmark commercials. Eugene Levy appears in this movie and in the sequel, but as a different character in each. The title characters of both versions of this movie have different names. In the later (this) version, the lead character is named after the father in "Mary Poppins," but his middle name is the same as the first name of the character in the original version. George

It's 24 and 11 for me. Okay with the first, still sad about the second. George

It was about that time that I gained respect for Penn as an actor. He had three VASTLY different roles in Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Taps, and Bad Boys, and he did them all very well. I didn't remember Esposito, but I remembered Penn and Cruise. Whom were you considering the main character, Tim Hutton or George C Scott? George
