  1. Admittedly, only one of the ladies mentioned above has portrayed the character in live action. There is another, but it will be a dead giveaway. Interestingly, not only has one of the ladies voiced the character, but she was actually its inspiration. George
  2. Adding a couple, including the most iconic (if not the best known) Kaley Cuoco Melissa Rauch Mia Sara Tara Strong Arleen Sorkin Jenny Slate George
  3. John Belushi 1941 (or, I suppose, Animal House) Tim Matheson George
  4. A John Sebastian tune is circling in my mind... George
  5. And there are others. Do you know who it is, or are you just making an observation? George
  6. Robert Wuhl Batman Billy Dee Williams George
  7. It WAS the Pretender. There were Jerod, Angelo, Sydney, Brigitte, Miss Parker, Mr. Parker, Mr. Raines, Mr. Lyle, etc. Andrea Parker played Miss Parker as well as her mother, Catherine Parker (the only character with both names given). "Jerod" had escaped "The Centre" (for gifted people like him to be used by the government) and Miss Parker led the group to bring him back. Hence, they were rarely in scenes together. Jerod could mimic any talent with brief study. He impersonated a doctor on one episode, and the exchange between a patient and him was used in the opening credits. George
  8. Anna Nicole Smith The Hudsucker Proxy Tim Robbins George
  9. Only one character (with a recurring role) is known by both first and last names. All the other characters are referred to by one or the other. This show had a cross-over with "The Profiler." When the female lead was asked how she felt about working with the star, she said that she hardly knew him. Except in flashbacks, where the characters were kids, the two only appeared in a few scenes together. This makes sense, based on the premise of the show. The female lead shares a last name with the character she portrayed (coincidentally, known only by her last name). "Are you a doctor?" "I am, today!" George
  10. I keep thinking "Dream On," but I know that's not it. Is this the first line of the song? George
  11. I appreciate your bringing a variety of songs. I wish we had a dozen or so players (as it was, back in the day) where just about ANY song was known by at least two people. Of course, just because I have no idea what this one is, it's certainly possible that it's a favorite of WW or Raf. George
  12. I know which star you're thinking of. However, the MAIN star appeared in a final insult and a movie about someone who sounds filthy. (There are others, of course; but those come to mind immediately.) George
  13. I think I MIGHT have heard "At the Zoo" before, but not "Baby Driver." Cute tune. George
  14. The other WB movie that comes to MY mind immediately stars a non-Korean actor playing a Korean who thinks Korean heritage is the pinnacle of humanity. George
  15. Don Ameche Cocoon Wilford Brimley George
  16. Independence Day Brent Spiner Star Trek X: Nemesis George
  17. Rosanna Arquette Arsenio Hall Michelle Pfeiffer Kelly Preston Robert Picardo Carrie Fisher George
  18. Of course, Bruce Wayne has masqueraded as Clark. Even President Kennedy filled in as Kent. ("If you can't trust the President of the United States, whom CAN you trust?" I'm not sure that quote has aged well.) I seem to remember Martian Manhunter posing as Superman. When he was exposed to gold kryptonite, he didn't lose his powers, he just lost the ability to take Superman's form again. I did get a kick out of that Man of Steel part where one of Luthor's assistants points out that Superman MUST be Clark Kent, and Luthor dismisses him. New one soon. George
  19. Less familiar with each added line. George
  20. I know Newton from two TV shows. The Untouchables (1990s version) and Superboy (?) George (It might be a more generic Clark Kent/Superman. I think Newbern voiced Superman in the Justice League shows.)
