    Finally :-D

Well, it's about time you announced it! I've been biting my tongue for so long, it's damn near bit off. :) Congratulations! Rick
  2. Since no one has had any guesses about the one I posted, it is called Kingdom Hospital...a one season series by Stephen King. It was written by someone else though...he "adapted" it, whatever that measn. Anyway, I just finished watching it and it was great! And ...AHEM...Sudo...so I was right about the pilot to GI? That's ok, you don't have to even mention that I got it right, no problem, I'm not upset.(whining silently to myself) Rick
  3. OK, I'm fighting a nasty virus on my development machine, so someone else please take my turn as I won't have time for awhile. Rick
  4. Well, the horse seems to be at a gallup as opposed to a canter, judging by the position of his legs, so we have gallup. And the Bird (Bird Bird Bird, yeah the Bird is the word...anyone remember that annoying song? :) ) you say is Polly. So that gives us Gallup and Poly...Gallipoli? (If so, the movie both sucks AND blows:) ) Rick
  5. I believe that was the theme to the pilot episode of Giliigan. In that episode, Ginger and Mary-Ann (played by two different lady's at the time, and probably with different names) were both secretaries on vacation or something like that. Rick
  6. Never mind, I just went to Google. Proof once again, that there are some things I just DON'T need to know about. (What happened to that pukeing smily?)
  7. OK, maybe I'm a little slow here. Could someone 'splain why the hell you would want to bleach your butthole?
  8. ...but I'm still laughing at those two! :) Rick
  9. This one seems to be a little obscure. I personally love everything I've read by this author (who didn't really write this particular story, but adapted it for teevee or some such ....) :) I have this series on DVD and am currently watching it, a little at a time. I don't have the exact quote but he used to say something to the effect that he never wanted to do a TV series because they always seem to have a beginning, a real long middle, then they get cancelled and there is no "end". So he was offered the opportunity to do a one-season series complete with beginning, midlde and end, and he took it. Don't know who the singer is A la Prochaine, but if I get time later, I'll try to look it up. She does have a neat voice though! OK, off to work! Rick
  10. Got a theme here that isn't nostalgic, but it was a very special kind of tv show. It only lasted one season, which usually means that the show wasn't very good. Not so with this one though. :) Click HERE and name the show and it's creator. I am just in between jobs now and have to be at another one that starts at 5:00 (I HATE working in the evening but have to do this one after hours since they can't have the network down during work hours) so if anyone has any guesses, I probably wont' see them till real late or maybe even in the morning.
  11. I was going to mention Lynx, but didn't think anyone else would know what I was talking about. :) Except my copy is posix-based (running on FreeBsd). Rick
  12. Looks like everything has been guessed, but I wanted to pop in and say Hi! OK, back to work. :( Rick
  13. Just in case I ever have the pleasure of visiting your country, I am SO glad that you informed me of that one! Imagine my surprise if I went to bed with an English Woman, and she said " 'ey ducky, be a dear and knock me up at 7" Rick
  14. An Abbey and a Town Cryer. Hmmm....:) Hey MaryPoppins...if you need space to post pics, Private Message me and I can give you an ftp account. I have my own server on a T-1 connection and give space to GSer's for free. Rick

The test is flawed from the beginning as there is no "Never" option to any of the questions. I spend 8-12 hours a day on line but, my job is to maintain and design custom software. So I would guess I probably spend more time on line than the most prolific poster on this site. But then, I'm getting paid for it. :) Rick
  17. OK, HERE is one for A La Prochaine. I know you'll recognize it once you hear it! It was done by some of your "Home Boys" up there in Canada. :) Rick
  18. George Of The Jungle. Cogitate? Are ya'll going to force me to resort to dictionary.com? :) Rick
  19. Cowgirl...I remember that! It was the Bobby Sherman show, right? Don't remember the name, but I'm prety sure it was a show that had him in it. Rick OK, this will probably be combined with my last post. But.... I reply'ed to Cowgirls post cause I KNEW it was the Bobby Sherman tv show...couldn't remember the name of it, but I see other's have guessed it already. Sudo's however, that dude that really liked that girl a lot, yeah, I remember it. They started out back in the day, kind of not-too-shabby days. You might even say they were kind of happy. :) Rick
  20. Oh, Ad and Vent! I was thinking man and grate  Rick
  21. The Sherlock Holms part is right, but I don't get the first 2 pictures. And it's been a few day's so I'm sure Raf won't mind. :) Rick
  22. I just stopped by cause I heard someone mention mind expanding substances. :) That has to be Hendrix. Same style as Star Spangeled Banner. Looks like a nice pet there Kathy! I saw a few when I was travelling through bayou country, but never saw any that big in Florida. Course, I didn't spend much time in the Everglades though. The party's in Daytona were more fun. :) Rick
