Speaking up in the kinder and gentler way international
chockfull replied to OldSkool's topic in About The Way
One of the most tragically comic things is reading through all the prophecy papers stuff in CES. It's like reading about a train wreck, especially when you've got the ladies going at one another - who was it KAG and someone else? It was like a "prophecy catfight" - I saw you as a snake, well I saw you as a homeless person on crack, no I saw you as a slut. Raaaarrrrr!!!! But I mean it does preserve the idea of where it's all coming from - that type of stuff is not genuine discerning of spirits, it's politically charged vision and dreams. In TWI, the people who are possessed are those "who don't believe in the direction the BOD is taking the ministry". Or someone blackballed by the BOD. I mean dear precious baby Jesus on a pogo stick. Who the F do these people think they are? Their heads are so puffed up with their own self importance it's amazing they can walk without toppling over from the weight of their huge melons. -
House Sitter? Maybe somebody can explain it to me..

All of that was the permutation of Corps Principle #4 over the years. The original one was "Believe to bring material abundance to you and the ministry". Or something similar to that. However, people started to question that. Quite obviously living on WIC and other welfare programs doesn't exactly jibe with that. Also, it's hard to reconcile that with all the 10% pay cuts you're demanding the Corps take. And dictating to them they can't have children. Etc. So the Forehead changed the principle to "believe to live abundantly on a genuine need basis". Just beautiful. I mean WTF does that mean anyway? When you examine that statement, it's double-talk and self delusion. You are on welfare in every sense of the word except in your mind, where you have convinced yourself you "live abundantly"????$#!$%^!!!!! And now comes the next permutation. "living on a need basis" doesn't exactly line up with corporation law. There's the minimum wage law, and all that so you can't pay someone $2.50 an hour any more to clean Region Coordinator's toilets and iron their shirts. So they don't want language around that could get them in legal trouble. And that, boys and girls, is how policy is made. -
The Way Corpse - and ex-insiders perspectives.

In retrospect, one of the dumbest d@mn choices I could have made with respect to higher education. -
Yes, but Tremendous Jones never took it as far as "horizontal witnessing". And yes, that kind of thing happened and was common knowledge in outreach programs in TWI.

Rupp. He handles Rosalie's mail now. He's two faced and complies with every decision she makes and hands down. He will express an opinion, then flip 180 on it after "meeting with the directors". He is a two-faced chameleon. Rico is next in line. Brian is down the list. It will be 20+ years before he ever gets anywhere, and believe me if he doesn't lock-step over that time he will be discarded like a cheap suit. And after you perform the actions for 20 years, how can you not become what you act over that time?

Mark 10:9 Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate. If you are a Christian, if you love God, if you respect the Bible, please listen to this testimony and compare what the scriptures say about it. These are Jesus words. TWI says with their mouth they are committed to scriptures. Yet what the fruit of their lives produces is exactly opposite. I can vouch for this personally. The fruit produced and interaction of the leadership of TWI is geared towards dividing married couples, for introducing doubt and fear into relationships, and for introducing the devil's lies in to marriages. Jesus said by people's fruit you know them. TWI's fruit is anti-Christ, anti the words of Christ, anti-scripture. They believe that faithfulness to their distorted concept of "the household" is greater than marriage. In this belief, and the actions that proceed from this belief, they contradict scripture while with their mouths professing scripture. Yet their treachery extends beyond this. Even people who love God and have been happily married for decades, they will try and divide, to lie about, to introduce their devilish suggestions in to divide. Ignore their petty lies. Stand against them. They will be judged by the same Word they stand against with the fruit of their lives. There is justice, and we have a just God. He is not mocked. Those who stand against the Word and produce fruit against the Word will reap the fruit of their anti-Christ actions.

Awesome. F'ing better than an AA 9 years sober pin. 9 years of not prostrating yourself before the king and queen of whoredoms.

The Why??? actually is that it was the fulfillment of common human needs in a sense. You say the WC was "just a status". Of course most of us see that now. However, to us it was not. My motivation was I sought greater meaning to my life, and the idea of a life of "serving God", "being committed to God", "having a closer relationship with God" appealed to me. The whole title "Corps" and the parallelism to the Marine Corps is appealing. The few, the proud. Doing something that not everyone can do. In a way that type of marketing for a program plays upon the dreams of youth. Youth wants to change the world, youth wants to make a difference in life. The fact that training spending half your time in menial labor and the other half "studying" current ministry materials and teaching really does nothing towards those things you thought it would is one thing. You end up more sold out to an organization's goals. And blinded towards that being what it is. And everyone is stifled by the leadership. People advance in position by compliance. Compliance to tasks assigned that are something a normal person wouldn't do adds to this - like complying with burning someone, ostracizing people, etc. The Why??? is that people are sold a bill of goods. They buy waterfront property in the Sahara desert. They are sold on the benefits, and in the process have leadership built up as demi-gods in front of their eyes. And they build for themselves lives that are a house of cards that will come crumbling down sometime.

I do know exactly what you mean. A lot of that type of look to me is simply the "repressed Mid-West little woman" look. In other words, some influence is a midwest US more farm country type of look. Another influence is the tremendous pressure in TWI to be subservient. Both of those things produce a look. However, with Donna and Rosie above, IMO it goes beyond that. Also, the second influencing factor there with them has never been a consideration. Having dealt with the les culture a fair amount, there are definite characteristics IMO that show there. But again, IMO.

For those that are unaware of this, Ramona - the one in the middle, was named as a defendant in the lawsuits along with the BOD. The specific charge against her was that she was a "procuress". What this means is that apparantly she, in addition to being sexually involved with Martindale, also was a type of "madam" who would talk other women into joining in to this type of activity. TWI and Rosie in particular have good reason to ensure that she is "happy" - i.e. not angry to the extent of retribution, as she knows enough that if she wrote a book like Kristin Skedgell, she would 1) have many more explicit details and 2) Be able to damage the reputation of Rosie. What's fairly clear is that this sex scandal stuff was known by all BOD members, it was a common practice, and the three above people were all knowledgeable of it, and it is rumored all 3 assisted in its continuation. For example, Donna and Rosie were rumored to promise the ability to "get leaders needs met" in that they all knew floozies or groupie types within the ministry they could "hook a leader up with". Ramona was one of those types. Of course as the inferences on this thread go, it is also widely speculated and supported by anecdotal evidence that Rosie and Donna have in the past been in a lesbian relationship. This picture itself above shows them both looking pretty "butch" beyond any bad 70's hair styles.

They were starting an all female biker gang?

Absolutely. I have taken minimum wage jobs during a job search because of this type of pressure. I also know plenty of people who are completely jerked around by this type of thing. "Come work for us, go back to 'secular work', oh, now come work for us again". It's all what is convenient for the flesh-trading BOD and what their extremely short-sighted BS attitudes are on what is best for the ministry. Actually, I think early on I was told that placements were done with 2 things in mind: 1) What is best for the individual, and 2) What is best for the ministry. I remember when there was one of those "please speak up to us to make the ministry better" pushes commenting on this, how the individual and their needs were no longer being considered. So then we were told we were "complaining", and they changed the statement to 1) What is best for the ministry, and added the phrase "because what is best for the ministry WILL be what is best for the individual". This is kind of like Ruppenheimer's comment to you on how service would produce all the healing you need - ignore the medical advice. What a bunch of j@ck@sses. In reality, they are just a bunch of selfish SOB's that are too d@mn lazy to actually care about their people, don't want to put forth minimal effort to know details about their lives to help them, and most decisions are made just because they are d@mn cheapskates and want to horde all that money at the farm rather than being honest and caring for their employees. One other case in point. When people like get kicked out of a root location, they generally dictate to them that they will not pay for a move beyond 250 miles from the location. So you see people scattered around areas of Ohio, and in the past Kansas, Indiana, Colorado, all because of the cheap b@stard syndrome. Guess what, clueless idiots on the BOD. You know how you like to harp on the law of believing? Well there's another law. What man sows, that he will also reap. And the future for your harvest is little to no leaders and correspondingly little to no people. Which really is what you want shown by your actions anyway. But that is all how it should be that your little podunc organization withers away and dies so your power to abuse people diminishes by the year.

What, upper middle class? -
TWI's idea of abundance: + Food and Nutrition Service - WIC
-
Because Underdog just has so much more of t3h aw3s0me going on than any TWI jargon could ever have.
-
Rosalie has since nixed the involvement of any corps in "distributorships". Nobody can sell Mona-Vie, or any other product via that model.
-
Part of that "learning experience" many times is an informant arrangement. They pair up "new staff" with people that will tattle on them if they complain.
-
The implied second sentence is left out - "because we sure as hell aren't going to....".

Yeah. Speaking up under Rosalie's regime is no different than speaking up under a Communist dictator regime. In both cases, it is a perfect front to identify and label dissidents. In a Communist regime, they are murdered. In Rosalie's regime, their character is murdered, they end up leaving on their own or placed on 'spiritual probation' by Rosalie. I know many stories and records of people in these categories. -
Well that's just a whole new spin on "the abundant life" that Jesus Christ came to make available. I wonder if they will put that one into the next version of the Foundational Class?
-
We could always come up with our own terminology. For example: LCM - ho VPW - ho ho Original BOT - Victor, Harry, Ermal - ho, ho, not a ho I'm feeling more festive already!

Awesome exposure of some really questionable practices there, OS. One point to make on the 401k program. First of all, the precursor to having a 401k that actually will be used AT ALL is that you have to have a salary that provides for a percentage beyond bare minimal need. And TWI's salary, at levels that qualify for welfare, does not. How can you put 4% - 12% of your salary aside for retirement if that amount is not there? I would be curious to see what percentages of staff actually use the 401k program. Next point on that is their employer matching structure. Usually this is done on a percentage basis. Not so at TWI. They contribute a fixed amount, and it's ridiculous until you've been on staff for 10 years. Now who really benefits are those who have been on staff 20 years - such as Q-Tip and her faithful sidekick. But the rest of the staff, not so much.
-
A much more convincing performance.

Well they are a bunch of 'ho's. Selling themselves out for position, power, their deluded dream of the big 'household' in the sky at the return. At the return, the egotists will be last in line. -
Yes it is. "Enemies" in the household. Because you are being conditioned to completely ignore those in the world outside of "the household".
