  1. Who said it was revelation to begin with? Saint Vic. You think. And, no doubt. Somewhere there's a manuscript staring that, you just haven't found it yet. But...but...but... God limits himself by our believing. Once again, you paint yourself into a corner, then try to bull your way out.
  2. Hey, you're the one lecturing that loving is serving. So tell me, who's served by you failing to communicate, then turning around and accusing @waysider of misrepresenting you? Then rather than admit your lousy communication, you double down and accuse Waysider of playing gotcha. You lighten up, man. Your communication is your responsibility. It's not our job to guess what you mean. If you're misrepresent the fault lies with you. The only person you serve by whining about misrepresentation and gotcha is you. As I've said before, being seen as being correct is more important to you than representing the bible.
  3. Like the pope had an aircraft carrier?
  4. Again you speak in generalities, not in specifics. Countless blessings? Thousands? Okay, you're one. Meanwhile, I can show you 18,000 people the 1942 promise failed.
  5. So once again we move it into the spiritual realm where any half baked idea is possible. So tell me, if we accept the notion of spiritual surgical alterations, how do we know the whole bible isn't one of those forgeries? In order to be in accordance with the great principle how would one of these spiritual forgeries come about?
  6. Okay, so? Does that make truth any less so? Does that change God?Like I said you're attemptimg to make a silk purse out of Saint Vic's sow's ear by claiming Saint Vic didn't mean what he said. So you're trying to tell me truth is finite and God is limited right? What other reason would you have to switch over to "verification" other than you think you found all the truth there is. One of the things I learned is knowledge is humbling. The more you know; the more you realize you don't know. You could spend your entire life studying a subject and realize you've only scratched the surface, If that's true for the physical realm, how much more for the spiritual realm? And our guidebook to the spiritual realm? No I criticize your lapses in reasoning and your adoration confirmation bias which blinds you from seeing Saint Vic for what he really is.
  7. You think. So tell me how many and how little? Just were do we start getting away from the bible's integrity? Remember: Add to God's Word and you no longer have God's Word. BIg, little what's the difference. Blowing off error doesn't make it truth. Wasn't there something about leavens and lumps in the bible? I think you're making things up again. You just said, Saint Vic said One day we'll find a manuscript proving my claim. Then you said he was stopping research before he found the manuscript. Your adoration filter is apparently so warped Saint Vic can tell you point blank what he did and you'll still find some excuse to give him a pass. Once again you prove being correct is more important to you than doing what God says.
  8. The great thing about the spiritual realm is that it'll support any lies, rationalizations, or half baked theories you care to muster. Nobody can prove or disprove anything so you can pretty much claim anything, even direct contradictions. That's why wise people want to see chapter and verse. Especially, when dealing with someone of Saint Vic's caliber.
  9. I agree. It's your Saint Vic worship filter which blinds you to anything outside your confirmation bias. Now, why would she need to explain research that was going to terminate by claiming he would one day find the manuscript to prove himself? Your filter's torturing your reasoning. Do you know how silly this sounds. Basically you're trying to say Saint Vic said, I know I said there were manuscripts out there proving my claims, but research is essentially done, we never found those manuscripts, but I'm right anyway. Again, you're trying to pour tons of manure on an obvious fault, hoping something beautiful will grow.
  10. If you understand narcissistic personalities, it's no great mystery. Among the traits narcissist have are: 1. Testing boundaries to see what they can get away with. 2. The need to tell on themselves. Saint Vic was just testing his boundaries with his audience. Usually when a narcissist confesses it's through projection, by blaming others for what they're doing. This, however, is a case of straight up admitting it and hoping no one will notice.
  11. Says the guy who stops reading posts because they don't match twi's doctrine. You're being hypocritical don't you think?
  12. Like I said, you're more interested in being right than transmitting any message from God.
  13. I would think your highest priority would be to get God's people delivered. That's God's highest priority, is it not? And is arguing about whether or not Christ is absent or whether the law of believing works for sinners getting God's people delivered? Why haven't you progressed in 20 years? Because you're more concerned with being right than you are with presenting Gods message as is. Claiming believing works better for believers is just one example of you making something up to be right.
  14. But he didn't believe in Jesus, and therefore the promises of God, a direct contradiction to your claim.
  15. And what about the dude in India? You know the one that Saint Vic claimed he healed? The one that told Saint Vic "I don't believe in your Jesus."
  16. There you go making stuff up again. If the premise is that you believe something or you don't, how would pistis work better for believers than unbelievers? Just where in the class was the above quote? I can see what JAL was hinting at. It's called magical thinking.
  17. I think of Saint Vic more as a vacuum, attempting to suck in everything within his grasp like a monsterous black hole.
  18. Abusers are insidious people. They start by love bombing to get you hooked. Once you're hooked they start attacking your self-esteem. When you've had enough and leave, it can go one of two ways. If they feel they can't get anything else out of you, they'll let you go and give you the silent treatment. However, if they feel they can get more out of you, they shift back to the love bombing phase, promising this time it'll be different. It is different, until they have you hooked again, then the cycle starts anew. Sounds like the ministry is in the remember what it was like love bombing phase.
  19. Oh, really?! So where are the places it says in the bibical text, "God can only give that which He is, which is Spirit." Or is it you, like Saint Vic, reading something in the text that isn't there? Everybody repeat after me: Add to the Word of God and you no longer have the Word of God.
  20. After that we'll sing "A Mighty Principle Is Our God."
  21. So, the thrust of any ministry is the deliverance of God's people. Why is it, rather than focusing on things that would deliver God's people, you choose to argue about doctrine? Will doctrine deliver God's people? I see the same problem with the The Way, all the wanted to teach was dogma, not how to believe greater or what's required to be healed by God. But, I understand. It's in the gospels. Before Christ would heal anyone he would make sure all the HSs and hss were marked in their bible. As were all the ds and ls. And God forbid you forget one occurance of also.
  22. But, as Saint Vic said in the class, add a word to the Word of God and you no longer have the Word of God.
  23. Are you aware of how ridiculous the above statement is? Okay, let's say Saint Vic takes advantage of a believer. The next morning he tells God he's sorry. God gives him revelation. Then that night he takes advantage of another believer. Multiply this cycle by a thousand times. This is just his "escapades". Now add into the mix his lies, his drunkeness, and all those little sins that we humans normally do. Just where did he find time to be in fellowship?
  24. Two words: Saint Vic. They don't know how to get to the Way website? How did they manage to find their way here? Only one per year, huh? For those thousands you clame PLAF blessed that's pretty slim pickings.
