A Thousand Pardons... It is "THE CLOCKWORK ORANGE" (the puzzle) but that's is an error... Raf, as always, is correct! :) I got the idea and info from this source (as I wanted to see what movies were popular the year I was born): http://aslan369.tripod.com/Movie/70s/Best70.html If you scroll down you will see where it's named "THE CLOCKWORK ORANGE" - but it's linked to "A CLOCKWORK ORANGE"... My apologies for the confusion!

Chas & Co. are less then 2 hrs away - we'd be happy to meet you! About an hour or so south-west of Bethel - in SALES TAX FREE NEW HAMPSHIRE - is a great place to visit and shop, called North Conway - there's some great outlet shops there (Timberland, Levis, Bass, etc.!) Feel free to email me at jarg@metrocast.net if you want to meet!

Hint #1: What KIND of fish? Hint #2: It's not a hood. Think about the WHOLE garment - what's it called?

Marty Stuart - seriously underrated picker with seriously bad hair!

Dooj - Check my post shortly after yours - I think it was the next one after your puzzle... Please forgive me if I jumped ahead - no one said anything, so I just assumed it was right and posted... :(

Oh me.... you guys are too smart for me sometimes... Very clever - I didn't get the Cptn Morgan = Rum part or the Hair part, but now I do get it - thanks for showing me! Guess it's my turn... Lemme see if I can make you proud - this is a fun thread!

Danny, I wish I had an eighth of your IQ - scheesch.... I love 'puters and electronics, etc., and I love monkee-ing around with them, but I haven't dared recording yet. Do you record? What do you use? Tell me more... I'm thinking (and listening, of course)....

I heard about a problem with Generation 1-3 iPods when I was in the market for my iPod - the problem is with the batteries. Here's a link, if you want more details: http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php...threadid=129937 Repairing iPods is not hard to do IF you have the kind with the harddrive - not the flash drive. Usually it's a battery problem and the battery is just a little fatter than a credit card, and snaps onto the drive of the machine. Just like with a PDA, you have to charge it. I've changed batteries in both and it's just a matter of remembering what you did to get to the battery, unsnap it, and snap the new one in place - no big deal, really. IPods are really simple machines - it's easy to source parts of eBay or elsewhere. I still bought a gen 3 iPod - it had the features I wanted, the extras I needed, and was in great shape at a decent price. I have no desire for the small (memory-wise and size) iPods or the video screen - no thanks. There's been other iPod lawsuits - this one is about scratches (go figure) and this one is about hearing loss (these types of lawsuits .... me off - see my quote below for how I feel about people like this)

a·pos·tle Pronunciation (-psl) n. 1. a. Apostle One of a group made up especially of the 12 disciples chosen by Jesus to preach the gospel. b. A missionary of the early Christian Church. c. A leader of the first Christian mission to a country or region. 2. One of the 12 members of the administrative council in the Mormon Church. 3. a. One who pioneers an important reform movement, cause, or belief: an apostle of conservation. b. A passionate adherent; a strong supporter. Perhaps by definition of 3a & 3b, VPW could be considered an apostle... but then you could also say that about anyone in history who started a reform movement, cause, or belief - which even the song "Alice's Restaurant" talks about... And friends, somewhere in Washington enshrined in some little folder, is a study in black and white of my fingerprints. And the only reason I'm singing you this song now is cause you may know somebody in a similar situation, or you may be in a similar situation, and if your in a situation like that there's only one thing you can do and that's walk into the shrink wherever you are ,just walk in say "Shrink, You can get anything you want, at Alice's restaurant.". And walk out. You know, if one person, just one person does it they may think he's really sick and they won't take him. And if two people, two people do it, in harmony, they may think they're both faggots and they won't take either of them. And three people do it, three, can you imagine, three people walking in singin a bar of Alice's Restaurant and walking out. They may think it's an organization. And can you, can you imagine fifty people a day,I said fifty people a day walking in singin a bar of Alice's Restaurant and walking out. And friends they may thinks it's a movement. And that's what it is , the Alice's Restaurant Anti-Massacre Movement, and all you got to do to join is sing it the next time it come's around on the guitar.

LOL - Exie - you beat me to it! I think you may be picking up a bit of a spiritual ego with the church you were with - I don't think that quitting al together is the answer - maybe pulling back a little .... BUT... The healthy thing is that you realized you might have problem before it REALLY became a problem, if you know what I mean. Like you were getting ready to get your head up your butt before you stopped yourself from going there. Good job! I don't think it's something that's exclusive to TWI - its religion, in general, that can bring someone to this. Just check in here at the Cafe to loose that every now and then!
-
So, did you? Really? After leaving TWI, which was made out to be the apex of spirituality, as long as you were "in the Household", did you return to your "Old Man" ways? Did you go back into what you were into before TWI and all of the "deliverance" you received? Was it as bad as LCM said it would be? OR BETTER?
-
I thought that was you that I couldn't see.

NPR... okay, that explains everything. You had me worried for a moment, dear Sudo...

Silly - Grease Spotters don't screw in light bulbs... Grease Spotters screw in hot tubs! -
Yes, Raf phonetically has it right, but George typed it out correctly... You decide who's next.... :)

Okay, the band is RUSH - for the life of me, I can't remember the name of the song... (I'm not a RUSH fan... sorry... some techies I used to work with ruined it for me....)
