Ted Bid0n is on staff, in Security - one bullet Barney.

My oldest loves it whenever we go over to someone's house and they have a big fish tank - he pulls up a chair and acts like he's in front of a TV... Someone gave us a little aquarium last fall. I know nothing about fish. All my pets have been furry ones. How could I get him started with it? What do I need to do to prepare it for fish?

But my favorite male bassist... it's a toss up between Sting and Flea... (and I just realized they both go by nicnames....)

I think it depends on the context in which the abuse is discussed. If someone is tells the story as background leading into a point to the story, that's one thing. If they're just saying it for sympathy or to hear themselves type, that's another. I don't generally engage or have a lot of respect for the latter. People work through things differently and some are just more graceful at it than others.

Welcome to freedom! Breathe the fresh air!

Yes, I've been on the BassGirls site before - my favorite female bass player is Aimee Mann ('Til Tuesday - now a solo artist.)

It is really hard for me to come clean, but here goes

Oh, gee thanks. Man, here I was worried about a PEDOPHILE’s opinion of me. I'll sleep better at night knowing you forgave me. You forgave yourself and excused your actions a long time ago - talking about how she was "only" 9 and you "only" fondled her. You're the one with the issues that need working out, writing stuff like that. You talk like you're the poster child for deliverance.... you are more like the poster child for the movie Deliverance. You've even personally apologized for VP's actions - what an egomaniac! I had my guard up against you when you first came on this board - but was willing to hear you out. Don't let the door hit you on the way out. And don't look out for that bus. -
Ditto! Many thanks for all of your hard work!

first boxers vs. briefs... now THIS! <_< What is UP with you? Do you need a girlfriend or a hobby or something? :) I'm getting worried about you...

Her wellness is YOUR ASSUMPTION. She's breathing and living - so she's "well"... maybe getting good grades in college, has a boyfriend, plays sports. Yup. Great. You've dismissed the damage you may have done in your reference to time - writing like it was a million years ago - and, as Abigail pointed out, your dismissing your crime like you had an excuse for it, as a man. How delivered are you? Do you still *think* about children - faceless or otherwise? -
Thanks for the info Belle - GOOD TO CYBER SEE YA, GIRL! I agree that we can't be too safe.

Thank you for your response. I'm not here to bash you but won't lie that I am leery, even though that may be fodder for you or others to attack or snipe at me. Don't interpret that as "not welcome", okay? I have my own past to contend with in reading your posts. I'm a little troubled by some points in your post and where you think you are at now in your deliverance. How do you do *know* your victim is doing well now? I assume she's about 19 years old now - 11 years isn't as long of a period of time as you'd like to think. -
That's easy... Ogunquit, ME is the San Francisco of the Northeast. What's not fruit or nuts, is flakes.

Welcome and thank you for being honest about your past. You could have chosen to hide behind a screenname and never disclosed your crime. I'm curious... WHY did you feel so compelled to tell us? -
Satori... you got it man! That's it - sum and substance. Does anyone, other than me, find it ironic that Elmo doesn't wan't to know the "gory details" but comes to a board where the Allen case was discussed in many threads, and is now looking for someone deeply involved with the case - but doesn't want to know anything? <_<

This is a RARE post from Mathman... (Chas' hubby) Four chords -- sounds a little like Teen Spirit by Nirvana, but think it's more like the OK GO song. Eb, Db, Ab, Gb.

I hear ya coolchef... some of that stuff that's mentioned already sounds like something outta Ogunquit!

What do you expect from someone who puts his knowledge of Mac OS 8.5 on his resume?

That's the plus about getting braces as a kid - you don't have to wear the retainer for the rest of your life... (like i do!)
-
-
Great SMILE! I went out for BBQ ribs when my braces came off... ... and ate gum, nuts, peanutbutter and all that other stuff I avoided with the braces... they're a pain - but no regrets!

JL - The thought of someone bumping uglies to John Phillip Sousa's William Tell Overture or Stars and Stripes... is just... well.. (hang on... I'm laughing too hard....) can't post tears running down cheeks whooo!

you know... i think you and our dear GreasyTech have too much time on your hands... maybe you two should meet for coffee or something... get hobbies... interests.... a life of some kind, so that the rest of us can live vicariously though you both ...
