  1. Since poodles are French, wouldn't it be more like... Poodle TarTar?
  2. OH MAN! That would have been a riot! LOVE IT!
  3. Actually, you'd be suprised... Did you know that I used to have a job testing video games? No kidding! Yes - I got paid to LOSE! I wish I'd thought of the Indiana Jones theme, tho - that would have been rich! Anyhow, I ended up going with... Are you ready...? MMMBop by Hansen. I figured the kids would like it and it's almost an instrumental - I mean, aside from the chorus can you name any of the lyrics? Anyhow, it's a happy, upbeat song that reminds me of summer. I thought it was approiate for the 5+ crowd....
  4. Maybe I should have mentioned it was on a Thursday....
  5. My son's class got together at the park last week for kickball and a picnic on a teacher conference day. I took video of it and would like to fashion it into a little music video... It was a warm, sunny spring day - lots of kids running, playing and sweating! They had a blast. Can someone please recommend a really appropriate song for this? I'm having a mental block... THANKS!
  6. I wonder who "Rose" is.... (And I doubt it's Axl Rose.... )

  9. now throw in a picture of jesus for dooj...
  10. I was just ripping my CD collection to iTunes... I think we should use "Dazed and Confused" by Led Zep for the intro song...
  11. The only way we would know would be if the mods checked the IP address and traced it to him and then let us know. Other than that... it's anybody's guess... As to the poster who said that if LCM came in here, apologized/came clean, etc., that many would probably forgive him... ...well, that would have been the smart thing to do when the crap first hit the fan blades, wouldn't it? But he probably assumed it would all go away and he'd still have his kingdom. Yeah, he got dethroned and lost his crown... but an ego like that doesn't repent. I respectfully disagree that he really has a clue about the damage he caused during his presidency or has any remorse afterwards.... there's been threads about those who have encountered him recently and he thought the problem with the women was that they got upset he wasn't giving them enough attention.... so they burned him... yah... right...
  12. Hope - Good to cyber-see you!
  13. You stand up everytime your boss walks in the office. You listen to the same book on tape for weeks while you're driving. You buy Bronner's soap. You know people who have wife-swapped and thought it HELPED their marriage. When you talk about headquarters, you aren't referring to your employer's corporate office. You've NEVER had a car loan. There's about 15 years of your life that you have no grasp on current events for - (When did Ronald Regan die?! You're KIDDING?!) You are no stranger to writing in Bibles. Your vocabulary is littered with strange phrases like "abundant" "prevail" "power"... A week spent in a hotel in Dallas or Indianapolis listening to the same tired teachings for a week is considered a VACATION!
  14. ALL babies are beautiful - even the pink wrinkly ones with spots on their faces! Hope mom and baby are doin' fine...
  15. She may just need a seditive - the night time barking is anxiety, I think, from how you talk about it. She might just need a little clonizapam to take the edge off for now. We had a Peke that went blind when he got older and he'd get absolutely miserable at night - and whenever he was alone. He's scream like a woman - it was rather unsettling, to say the least. We sedated him (mildly) when he got real frantic and it helped. We finally had to put him down because he was just so miserable - not much real quality of life anymore. But I also echo Notta's advice... check with your vet.
  16. Doooj - You beat me to it! Or maybe.... I'm COO-KOO for Cocoa-Fuffs!
  17. Weeellll, there was a part of the CF&S class about dogs and ...... .... sorta makes ya wonder...
  18. I think so... the gray chest hairs were pokin' thru... It's sad to see him without his brothers - the harmonies make that group and their songs. I don't care for him as much as a solo artist... (RIP Morris)
  19. Tonight's menu: Oodles of Poodles on Noodles
  20. JavaJane - you're so refreshing! Love it! Dooj - you're not ranting at all - excellent points!
  21. Is it the artists or the demand of the public? I'm sure you've heard of Thomas Kinkade - everyone has seen the little houses all lit up and the light houses, etc. I liked his work - but then his stuff was everywhere! When it started showing up on mousepads, toilet seat lids, and other common household items... reeking of "church lady" collections, I'd had enough. When I first moved to NH, I had a job offer in the Seacoast area to manage one the Kincaid galleries in a nice mall here. It was in 2000, and I was offered a whopping $7.50/hour with no commission. I wasn't too impressed - no thanks. The gallery closed within 3 years. I think it was all due to saturation of the market - That, and if you've seen a couple of his paintings, you've seen them all. His earlier stuff is more interesting to me than the latter stuff... but not marketed as much. ' Although I agree with your comments about the artists going for the bucks, I think Christians are so used to the saccharine (sp) art they've seen and have in their homes, that it would never fly with a lot of them...
  22. That is your confession DMiller, but you've carried that with you all these years. How could you live with yourself? We all know you did it on purpose to please the man of God - but you try to write it up like it was an accident. Shame on you. You said what I've been thinking all along... even the title of the thread... well...
  23. I agree with you on that batcave - and welcome! What the heck is Ruben and Clay up to these days? It's like they fell off the face of the earth or something...
