Somehow, my jaw isn't exactly dropping to learn that OJ did it... seems like old news revisited... (not that your link isn't interesting or newsworthy - just saying I never thought he was innocent to begin with...)
-
How about.... "Precious Cargo" "Treasure You Land" (a play on "Treasure Island") "No Stone Unturned" or... my favorite... "Booty Call"

Maybe I'm off here... I wasn't WC or anything of the sort, but I really liked those old buildings. My parents had managed a home for the elderly (it was the town's poor farm) when I was growing up in Maine, and although Rome City was on a much grander scale than what I grew up in, it reminded me of home. I liked it (but admittedly never spent any time in the basement - my bedroom when I was there to work staff for a class was the Dentist office - does that count?) Anyhow, I would think that with some renovations, it would make an excellent retirement housing project...

Actually, it's come in really handy.... (no pun intended...) But only the pinching it at the bottom, not the stem part... Otherwise... I'm not using a knife and fork on a banana!

Or was that parfaits? (Talkin' about the layers...) Donkey: You know what else everybody likes? Parfaits. Have you ever met a person, you say, "Let's get some parfait," they say, "Hell no, I don't like no parfait"? Parfaits are delicious. Shrek: No! You dense, irritating, miniature beast of burden! Ogres are like onions! End of story. Bye-bye. See ya later. (psst - but I think Lord Farquaad and Lady Farquaad have returned...)

I said the same stuff 19 years ago when I got sucked in... you soooo remind me of myself.... Yep... I had all the answers and noone could tell me otherwise... Let's revisit this conversation in about 10 years and see what you're saying then... Cuz' this walks like a cult and quacks like a cult...

waysider - agreed. ...and as long as there's money, investments and assets to be gained, I think there will always be someone in line who will be trying to get their piece of the pie. The only way it will disappear, is if the the current shareholders decide it's time to divvy up the goods and lock the doors.

Who cares... we all have been there already and done that... if we cash in on this one quickly enough, then we can MAKE the RULES!

Okay, does anyone here subscribe to Guitar World? There's a great article in the June 2007 issues about a recent Clapton tour in Europe and Asia - it's pretty incredible... I'm wondering how much of the article I could post without violating copyright laws... Here's a little snippet from another web site about it: Clapton has assembled an impressive band, including several album collaborators. The 2006 tour band will consist of: Eric Clapton, guitar, as well as Doyle Bramhall II and Derek Trucks also on guitar, Chris Stainton and Tim Carmon on keyboards, Willie Weeks on bass, Steve Jordan on drums, The Kick Horns: Simon Clarke, Roddy Lorimer, and Tim Sanders on brass, and backing vocals by Michelle John and Sharon White. WOW.... wish they'd tour America....

Well, Sylvan Springs bought it for $750K and then did extensive restorations... I'd say it's probably around a mil, but who knows...?

Happy Fathers' Day to all those special dads and all they do! We celebrated it here by a family outing to Story Land (in Glen, NH). A wonderful time was had by all! (As an extra "bonus" on those days, we also relieve each other of changing diapers on Mothers' Day or Fathers' Day - I got all the diapers today - including the nuclear ones!)

With all due respect to Larry & Co. - I don't think the responses on this thread are that off... True, no one had exactly what he was looking for - but that's what you get sometimes when you post the type of thread this happens to be... fishing for information sometimes leaves you with an empty hook, I'm afraid. I don't see where anyone was disrespectful or out of line. I believe mine & Larry's differences were ironed out but had there been more communication from both of us about expectations and results, then perhaps it would have gone better, no? C'est la vie.

Book 7 - Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows

Wolf - I soooo wished you and rascal wished closer - I've love to meet over coffee or beer (depending on the time of day, of course) and talk talk talk about this! There's only 34 more days for the book and 26 more days until the movie (OOTP) comes out..... -
(Now I'm gonna assume you want that on the rocks...) Larry - it's not your question that bothered me... it was your initial response. I think we've ironed that out and don't need to take it further.
