I have a DLP 52" Panosonic. I don't like as well as my 53" regular projection TV. One thing about the DLP is that you can see it from all angles which is nice. Yes the DLP bulbs burn out and do not from what I have read, don't last nearly as long as the thousands of hours they say they do. For my tv the bulb is $300. I did buy the protection plan at Circut City but from what I understand even with the protection plan they will only replace the bulb once. I hope my TV blows up so I can replace it. hmm I have a generator that puts out 220v. That should take care of it. :D My suggestion is: Find a picture that you like, then research it. ;) Also I understand the new HD boxes are much better than ones the few years ago. A good surround sound system is a must too. Don't fall for that Bose 3 speaker simulated surround sound (what a joke). I went to buy a surround sound system and went into the speaker room at Circut City and compared the sound. I went with Polk speakers and the sub woofer. They blew out the Bose and Jensons in the same price range ($400 - $600) and I have not had one bit of problems with them. Good luck

Can it be fixed? I am with GrouchoMarxJr on this. It was always broken. On the other hand. There were ego cases in the Corps, say 20% before they went in. A higher percentage when people came out because it (Way Corps) was broken. I believe there were so many people that had a great heart and wanted to serve God and his people but had no clue what they were in for. They believed all the meaness that was taught and they saw how some of their elder corps brothers and sisters had the attitude that something that came out of their body did not stink. Thus some of the people changed attitudes about being wanting to serve too wanting to be served and that is what I believe twi wanted all along. Think about it. The attitude started with the "first corps grad" (VP) and he wanted to shovel it off on to the people who thought they were bettering their life for God. Instead it was to better the life of VP.

I do remember vp being mad as anything about lcm doing AOS he said that very clearly to all at HQ. He also stated it was "off the word" I believe vp was tossed aside before AOS and was considered a "has been" or some believed a crazy old man who had lost his mind. I just sort of had that feeling. If there is any truth to POP, that was the truth.

The eye just went east of Wilmington, NC thith the western part of the eye just going over the beaches. Wind is out of the north steady at 35 - 40 with gusts in the 50 and 60 mph range. The worst I have seen is at Wrightsville Beach with a gust to 84 mph. As of now 50,000 without power as it creeps up the coast.

Looks like we are going to be ok. Winds are expected to be 70 mph gusting to 85 tomorrow afternoon. The thing is those strongest winds will be out of the NNW which will be better as far as the beaches are concearned. The rain threat is the biggest problem. Could be up to 8 inches from now until tomorrow night. So we ex's are going to do good down here. We are going to do real good. ;)-->

Hurricane low and peak seasons go in cycles. The seawater temps where these things blow up has only warmed one degree since the 1950's I believe. The earth needs these storms to cool the planet. It is just amazing the amount of heat hurricanes disperse. I hate they hit land and destroy but hurricanes are a part of what helps support life on this earth.

Good God, All this over a story???????? I remember in the corps. A movie came out and the few nights we were able to go out on the town. JAL said, "if your going to a movie sit back and enjoy it. You don't have to pick it apart spiritually." Then they went to a Royals game it was the playoffs and you should have heard that whole way corps staff say how many devil spirits were at KC that night. It was pityful. I go along with the first If you like it, great. If you don't great. IMHO there were some good ole devil spirits flying around during Athletes of the Spirit. That whole thing was just wierd. The whole time lcm banging the hell out of miss satan.
