  1. That is what the Mog's needed: A couple of Ho's Merry Christmas to you Oldies
  2. Go Back? Hehehehehehheheheheheheheheh Not enough smilies Paw. I need one with a finger that flips up and down :D It has been just about 20 years since I left tha cult and do not regret a day of it(since the day I left). It was evil then and it is evil now. Funny thing about your words about comming back. It is the same ole dribble I heard 20 years ago. It is all about the love of money The love of money so they can have a nice place to abuse people and hide it from the world. How dare you come here and try to talk people to come back. Gotta say though you have some big kahoonas to try.
  3. Good for her. How is she doing? Welcome to freedom WW.
  4. Well I have had enough of this thread :D
  5. Tears to the eyes? Read this one. I do a lot of transports for rescues. For some that may not know. A rescue is usually a person or persons that have dogs either from kill shelters or abandoned animals. These people work very hard to save as many as they can. Some animals are very sick and the rescuer works very hard to get them back to health. Their main goal is to find them loving forever homes. They have a motto: Saving one animal will not change the world........... But, surely, for that one animal the world will change forever! Here is the rescues Rainbow Bridge. THE RESCUE RAINBOW BRIDGE Unlike most days at Rainbow Bridge, this day dawned cold and gray, damp as a swamp and as dismal as could be imagined. All of the recent arrivals had no idea what to think, as they had never experienced a day like this before. But the animals that had been waiting for their beloved people knew exactly what was going on and started to gather at the pathway leading to The Bridge to watch. It wasn't long before an elderly cat came into view, head hung low and tail dragging. The other animals, the ones who had been there for a while, knew what his story was right away, for they had seen this happen far too often. He approached slowly, obviously in great emotional pain, but with no sign of injury or illness. Unlike all of the other animals waiting at The Bridge, this animal had not been restored to youth and made healthy and vigorous again. As he walked toward The Bridge, he watched all of the other animals watching him. He knew he was out of place here and the sooner he could cross over, the happier he would be. But, alas, as he approached The Bridge, his way was barred by the appearance of an Angel who apologized, but told him that he would not be able to pass. Only those who were with their people could pass over Rainbow Bridge. With no place else to turn to, the elderly cat turned towards the fields before The Bridge and saw a group of other cats like him, also elderly and infirm. They weren't playing, but rather simply lying on the green grass, forlornly staring out at the pathway leading to The Bridge. And so he took his place among them, watching the pathway and waiting. One of the newest arrivals at The Bridge didn't understand what he had just witnessed and asked one of the animals that had been there for a while to explain it to him. You see, that poor animal was a rescue. He was turned in to rescue just as you see him now, an older cat with his fur graying and his eyes clouding. He never made it out of rescue and passed on with only the love of his rescuer to comfort him as he left his earthly existence. Because he had no family to give his love to, he has no one to escort him across The Bridge. The first cat thought about this for a minute and then asked, "So what will happen now?" As he was about to receive his answer, the clouds suddenly parted and the gloom lifted. Approaching The Bridge could be seen a single person and among the older animals, a whole group was suddenly bathed in a golden light and they were all young and healthy again, just as they were in the prime of life. "Watch, and see," said the second feline. A second group of animals from those waiting came to the pathway and bowed low as the person neared. At each bowed head, the person offered a pat on the head or a scratch behind the ears. The newly restored animals fell into line and followed him towards The Bridge. They all crossed The Bridge together. "What happened?" "That was a rescuer. The animals you saw bowing in respect were those who found new homes because of his work. They will cross when their new families arrive. Those you saw restored were those who never found homes. When a rescuer arrives, they are allowed to perform one, final act of rescue. They are allowed to escort all those poor animals that they couldn't place on earth across The Rainbow Bridge." "I think I like rescuers," said the first animal. "So does God," was the reply. --unknown
  6. lmao Belle Check this one out. http://www.indigo.org/rainbowbridge_ver2.html
  7. See how times changed in 9 years since I was 15th. Yes we were told it WAS a lifetime of Christian service and also it WAS with twi and to follow twi and their wishes. Yes we also heard "Once Corps always Corps".............but not doing what we wanted but what twi wanted us to do. We were also told the same thing about being twig leaders. I can't ever remember that we were told to go to college and start a buisness. "It's either my way or the highway." That was drilled into us.
  8. I am with Exi on this. Throw out the bible verses here. If vp had any guts he would not have touched anyone. It is a story like Exi's that still makes me think they(twi) does not believe a damn thing of what they teach. It is all for power over people and the love of money. Oh and lets not forget a piece of "tail" when ever they saw a person like Exie that needed help. OMG Exie he showed you the love of God. No wonder they wont let people(exway) go visit his grave site. I would pi$$ on it. Then find LCM's house and put dog poop in a bag and set it on fire and watch him come out and stomp on it. Just totally disgusting and wrong. For you bible thumpers out there. Take the good book and throw it away and think with your heads and quit making up excuses for these trashy foot people. Quit trying to defend the wrong.
  9. I have a few at the Bridge too Belle and I too believe that God will reunite us with our pets.
  10. Rainbow Bridge There is a bridge connecting Heaven and Earth. It is called the Rainbow Bridge because of its many colors. Just this side of the Rainbow Bridge, there is a land of meadows, hills and valleys with lush green grass. When a beloved pet dies, the pet goes to this place. There is always food and water, and warm spring weather. Those old and frail animals are young again. Those who have been maimed are made whole again. They play all day with each other. But, there is one thing missing. They are not with their special person who loved them on earth. So, each day they run and play until the day comes when one suddenly stops playing and looks up. The nose twitches, the ears are up, the eyes are staring, and this one suddenly runs from the group. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. Your face is kissed again and again and again; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the eyes of your trusting pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together, never again to be separated. - Author Unknown
  11. Yeah WD was a trip. Way Dalers were the first people I talked to about twi since I left in 1986. When I found it I went to the chat room and Paul told me to read the threads to catch up on what happened in twi. I think I stayed up till 4:00am reading all I could. Went to sleep and got up at 6:00am and read more. It was a great place.
  12. Here you go Digi Dear WayDalers, Fern and I are very pleased to announce that our litigation against The Way International and other named defendants has finally been concluded and that we have reached a satisfactory settlement agreement. While it is not our intention to disclose the terms of the settlement that was reached, we do want to explain some of our rationale for agreeing to an out of court settlement as opposed to going to trial. But first things first! Fern and I would like to thank each and every one of you who supported and helped us as we prepared this litigation. There were some who assisted us by helping us gather needful information and of course there were many who wrote to us and wished us well, offering their prayers as we embarked on our course of action. A small group of you (you know who you are!!!) became regular phone callers who gave constant encouragement, understanding and a sounding board for our ideas. Without you our journey would have been much more difficult. To each and every one of you, please accept our sincere thanks. We want to especially thank you who were willing to come to trial as witnesses on our behalf. Your willingness to attend our trial as witnesses and open your lives up to the rigors of cross examination on the stand was appreciated more than words can express. It takes courage to volunteer in this capacity. Talk is cheap, but when it came down to actually agreeing to take the stand on our behalf and making preparations to come to Sidney, Ohio, you folks put your money where your mouths were! Thanks to you from the bottom of our hearts. Since the day that Fern and I left The Way International HQ on March 23 of 1999 our lives have continued to be wholly immersed in matters relating to The Way. Between the WayDale Document Archive (main site), WayDale Chat, the WayDale Forums and the preparation of our lawsuit, we've not had the opportunity to really "leave The Way" as most of you have had. My (Paul) involvement in matters pertaining to this litigation, WayDale and helping others with Way related issues has taken enormous amounts of time each week for the past one and a half years. For this reason (and others) we are delighted to be able to announce this conclusion of our litigation. We have wanted to "move on" with our lives for quite some time and now maybe we'll finally be able to do just that. In order for my wife and I to be able to put this episode behind us and begin to move on with our new lives, we have decided that it is time to close the WayDale web site permanently. With the GreaseSpot Cafe now fully operational and in good hands (Pawtucket and PamSanDiego), ex-Ways will continue to have a well managed cyber-home where they can congregate. During the 1 1/2 years of its operation, the WayDale's home page has been visited roughly 285,000 times. The WayDale Forums have been visited 1.97 MILLION times and have received over 98,863 individual posts. The WayDale Forums have had THOUSANDS of participants/contributors and many thousands more who have silently "lurked" and benefited from the learning. Many hundreds of ex-Ways have been reunited with long lost friends. The closure of the WayDale site will entail the deletion of the WayDale Forums, WayDale Chat and the main WayDale Document Archive. This closure will take place around the 20th of November. WayDale has told the "other side of the story" and has reached many thousands of people, helping many of them make more informed decisions about their involvement in Way activities. It is now time for my wife and I to move forward and rebuild our lives and walk into whatever the future holds for us. I (Paul) do intend to be an occasional participant at the GreaseSpot Cafe chat room and forums. Please accept our heartfelt thanks for your kindness, your support and your friendship over these past one and a half years. With much love and our sincere appreciation, Paul & Fern Allen Ex-Ways Always P.S. A special thank you to those 34 of you who graciously responded to our request for financial assistance (in helping to pay travel expenses for trial witnesses). In light of the trial being cancelled, it is our intention to return your money to you within the next two or three weeks. I had previously said that whether win, lose or settle in the trial, we would donate all unspent monies to charity as I believed that it would be difficult to determine how much (percentages etc.) to return to each contributor. However, with the small number of contributors involved and the fact that only a handful of travel tickets (which we will cover personally) had been purchased, we have decided to return all monies in full to each individual contributor. If you sent your money anonymously (About $60 of the approximately $3700.00 contributed was sent this way), that money will not be returned to you but rather will be donated to the American Cancer Society
  13. Your right Oldies and I agree with you to a point. I just know what happened when a couple of things where exposed. A mixed bag? Yes some stayed but most left either if it was POP or the exposure of lcm's "carrying on's". twi was exposed for what it is. People would not put up with it. They (twi leaders) could not live up to what they wanted us to be. For those that took it (twi doctrine) to heart and lived it were so much better in Gods eyes JMHO. I can just about bet that, using lcm's lingo..........God would not bother "spitting" at twi leaderships direction. That is how worthless they were and still are.
  14. I agree that a lot of people were thankful. How thankful do you think they would have been if they knew what was going on at the top of twi? Not all holy and pure. Far from it. I know Oldies you saw some of the stuff that was going on just from reading your posts. When a sliver of the corruption was exposed people saw that and fled in great numbers. They wern't blessed anymore. It took them (twi) that long to be exposed. My guess is if everything was exposed about twi 30 years earlier there would not have been as many people involved and thankful nor abused in any number of ways. Sort of like now how people are not flocking to that corn field cult in Ohio. Some of the truth is out their about twi and people hate what they stand for.
  15. Well we had something for your dog. We always went out to smoke a bone(joint)
  16. I was told by an innie after I left that V*nce Finn*&$%n said I had major debbil spirits running my life. I told the person that was true but I left them where I got them........with twi :P
  17. Oh man tell me about that one. I was asst. wrestling coach here at a highschool and I thought we had a home match. I got to the school not a wrestler around. The basketball coach told me they left an hour before to go to the AWAY match. Well I drove the 50 miles to the match and boy did the kids give me .... ;)
  18. If you have ever wondered where pet store puppies come from well more than likley it is from a puppy mill. I have seen the results first hand. I have seen the eyes that are fogged and blind because of the amonia from the urin that has burned them. I am not a person that thinks breeders are bad but I know breeders that are respnsible breeders would never let a pet store sell their dog. People that sell dogs in a store are not respnsible breeders!!!!!!!!!! They are in it for the all mighty dollar and the link I will put at the end of this story shows why they don't care about dogs or for that matter life its self. Make note to ones self if you see a pup in a pen for sale. This is what the selling of the dog supports. Say you wanted a black lab. There are many rescues at pet finder that have labs to be adopted dogs that need forever homes. Or go to an adoptathon at a pet store near you, local puond or humane soc.. I have had both reliable breeder dogs and adopted dogs. I will probably never buy another dog. The look in an adopted dogs eyes that you give a good home too is one of thankfulness unlike a breeder dog. Here is the link of the puppy mill bust in Sanford NC http://www.aldf.org/sanford.asp
