Uhmmmmm, When I was first witnessed to. So many things all along that strange journey. Common sense told me to stay away. Common sense all the way from pfal and into the corps screamed "get out". I just did not listen to that "quiet voice" that one day screamed at me to "get out".

The worst thing I ever heard was from a guy that was my elder corps in res.. He said "We should kiss Martindale's feet if he sat in front of us" I asked him if he was serious in which he replied " Yes".:excl:

I was 15th corps. JAL Michael Fart, Dave B*dard ruled Emporia with an iron fist. Very little love of God in that place at all as far as the leadership They seemed to get pleasure from ripping someone apart. I never understood that. Why now John, that you want to show "love"? Ohh I know why. The almighty dollar. I wonder what happens when you "sell out" now. It must be like twi and piffel. All nice and all then they swing the all mighty hammer. Corps lunches reminded me of Krustov talking to us then taking off his shoe and banging it on the lunch table saying "We will bury you" . Anyone considering JAL's new thing. DON'T

Thanks Paw for EVERYTHING. I remember when WayDale closed and wondered if GSC would work with a completely different format. I can only imagine the work you have put into this place. I hope your life is a little more easy. I am looking forward to Xway Vision to continue to help people and keep them from joining, leaving, healing and of course the demise of that cornfield cult.

Wow you did have a time.:). That does not sound to bad at all and it sounds like you enjoyed it.. See that is how much we new what the College Div was doing? Maybe the College was THE place to get ingrained on twi stuff if you wanted to know more besides the pfal - advanced class. To bad you had to go corps and get waxed. Corps really was a screwed up thing and not for the faint of heart. Maybe it was for the faint of heart since you got kicked out earlier.

We probably know each other, I was 15th. Thanks for taking up the slack when we were gone. :) I always wondered how the college division felt. I mean we were the big people ( or so we thought) on campus and the College Division were always sort of shuffled to the back back a little. Yeah we always knew about you and I knew some of the College Divisi9on and wonderful people you were. Sort of strange how we (College and Corps) were kept apart though and we were right there together.

I loved Emporia's bless patrol. Out there all night with 0 degree temps then coming in for breakfast and having frozen fruit with whipped cream on top. What a blessing.

Being out for a long time and finally figuring out. The simple answer was just say "NO". I bet that is how the court saw it having never have had their mind warped. God was everything (I hope still is) to us. Being a good wayfer we listened to men/women to run our lives and they told us this is what God was wanting while warping the scriptures. Never anything a judge will ever see and probably nothing a jury would ever understand. never being under a control like twi. like we were. I get it and when I heard about the law suite and talked to parties about had the thought the Peelers would never win. On the other hand I understand what they went through as far as being pressured to give till there is almost nothing left. How about this and it goes for Grease Spotters......even we understand things the rest of the world never will. Ech that sounded to much like twi spew for me.

If one has doubt about the vpw I remind you to go and listen to the Grease Spot Radio section and listen to Kristen Skedgell's story. I bought her book and TWI was corrupt from the start. No doubt about it!!!!!

I got mine on Saturday. I'm about 2/3 of the way through it. A great read and shows what happens fom not only her perpective but if no one knows about twi they will get a good picture of what it is like. I'm not going into details or my feelings on the book so you can all read it without knowing anything else than what the radio interviews detailed. It is a good read and sure brigns back memories.
