Yeah, the whole car thing sucked...I knew I was screwed when the first morning I awoke to hearing my car pulling out of the driveway. I was told that I shouldn`t have brought it if it wasn`t to help move the word...it wouldda been nice to have at least been asked. He also got a parking ticket and refused to pay it .... Welcome roses, I went twice...I have to agree it was mighty tough.

John vpw`s evil was not a one time thing...it was habitual over life time. The hate that you see in my posts because that is what you want to see....your arguments based on that are not valid. Well...I know that on our own some riding buddies and I managed to get a whole semi truck load of hay, feed, vet, supplies mineral blocks together to feed the starving horses after katrina and have it delivered. We helped with adoption of hoprses and pets afterwards. Many of the people in our community go down to south america once or twice a year to build churches. I know people who go on a yearly mission trip to mexico... Habitat for humanity is big here. Seems like most of the stuff I know of is just taking care of folks locally....the family who`s been burned out...the farmer who is injured and can`t work his farm...the people paying the bills after a disaster. Fund raisers for people with illness and huge medical bills. We help with fund raisers for our battered womens shelter.... Not global no, but doing our best to attend to what happens on a local level.

Absolutely Dooj :).....obviously we (gs at large) offend Bumpy, there for we are deemed to be of no value other than to provide personal entertainment over ones morning tea...when the interaction has lost it`s entertainment value, it must be wiped away.

Good point waysider. This guy taught that all things were lawfull as long as you could handle it. Thing is, apparently he couldn`t handle it... Drink as much as you want....he was drunk and pathetic Sex with whomever you want....the girls whom were drugged and raped...the ones whom were coerced believing that they must obey the mog...not to mention his poor wife were all deeply hurt by this... Smoke...like a chimney because he could believe to be healthy.....didn`t happen. There are consequences to certain behaviors...thats why God told us not to do them... John, Jesus said that we would be able to identify one another by the fruit we manifest. So based on that...I`d have to say no...I guess I don`t believe he was a christian...shrug. Session 7?? I think that there is more to it than he understood or taught... I have met genuine christians, they get delivered from their fleshly ways. In the spiritual battles that he depicts...the spiritual beings are engaged in war all around us...the devil and his spirits are at work...causing division, strife, injustice.... .the angels, if you will..only have the power to act when energized by prayer...hard to explain really, but make for some interesting perspective being told alm,ost as if looking at it from the angels pov. I don`t know dot, I went through the same questions to the point of a chrisis in my faith when contemplating why God would allow me to be sucked in to a group led by ravening wolves.... WHy couldn`t he lead me to a wholesom group where my efforts and sacrifice would have been of benefit? I only know that he has made himself known to me in an unmistakable way on more than one occasion...that he has been there to pick up the shattered pieces time and again.... You misrepresent me and my pov entirely john and then attack on that premiss. I NEVER said christians didn`t sin....I did say there is a difference between sin and fruit. I know that fruit is the single measuring stick that God gave us to identify one another....shrug I personally don`t understand why you must try to negate it`s importance, unless it is to excuse the lack. There are going to be people who thought they knew him who will be told to depart....pure and simple...there are going to be people whom are of the flesh whom will have no inheritance in the kingdom of God.... There will be those who are of the spirit and will recieve an inheritance and ever lasting life... God tells us clearly how to tell one from the other...where is the butchery?

That is the thing...they couldn`t do it to us today because like all bullys, they really are cowards when someone actually stands up to them. They would just tuck their tails and slink away. What pitifull excuses they were.

Dooj I was venturing an answere to johniams question. Sorry for not using punctuation to make it clearer. It was my opinion that you could tell what was genuine and what was counterfet by examining the fruit manifested.

Jesus said that by fruit we can know what is genuine That fruit is produced from what we are inside...not something that we are striving to become. If we are having issues with fruit of the flesh rather than manifesting that fruit of the spirit...then it is time to examine our understanding for flaws. edited for clarity

That was beautifully said Sunesis. I too...yearned for the understanding the personal relationship as opposed to the historical view. All of my efforts seemed works based ...do a+b search long enough... work the word diligently enough...discipline your thoughts enough...witness enough...tithe enough...to achieve the spirituality that I believed would bring the closeness I craved. Ever searching but never coming unto a knowledge of....describes it perfectly ......

My first melting was when my tc`s wife declared me possessed....it destroyed me God picked up the shattered pieces and put me back together...I was so carefull to never give anyone a reason to ever doubt my spirituality again....I never ever disagreed....I witnessed, I had people in every class I took every adv class....etc My second face melting occured when my lc came to visit me when I was app corpes. The classes I needed to go into the way corpes had never been offered in any area that I had ever lived before...thus I had failed in my preperations...I also was short on money ... I WOULDN`T have been if they hadn`t required me to move out of my parents rent free home and live with huge expenses in a way home in town....He was enraged that I still had pets... Anyway I got screamed litterally screamed at by r0tch w0tkins...frothing at the mouth with rage...I was terrified, having never seen anything like this enormous jock bent over bellowing at me in my teeny tiny bed room....I would have promised anything..... I was so terrified that I would have promised anything to redeem myself....I asked him meekly if going out wow again might enable God to teach me what I needed to know to become corpes material....he calmed down immediately and said that would be acceptable... The third time.....

Your welcome highway :) Most people who only have a single horse or two and don`t understand herd dynamics. Horses have a pecking order....they are either taking orders or giving them to those under them.....if you aren`t telling a horse what to do, they assume that they are in charge. It isn`t an ornery issue...it`s just their nature. As you spend more time with them, you learn horse talk for *I am the boss*....It isn`t what you`d think either...any monty roberts book will explain body languages...anything by pat parelli or John lyons, clinton anderson ...will help also. If you get rfd tv on satelite...there are several of these guys that have shows. Horses are so wonderful when you understand them. When you actually start speaking *horse* their ears perk up, their eyes shine, they are delighted when their human starts communicating in a way that they understand... The program that my daughter and I study...we can get our horses to come to us to back up to circle us, to move their back end their front end...all off line....all through playing games that they LOVE! Our horses love to go places, love to interact with us because they understand...they are also can be quite protective of us if they feel we are being threatened by another animal. You win their hearts...instead of just treating them like a dumb brute that is there to do your bidding...to satisfy your need for entertainment....and you win a friend for life...they are so sensitive and fun loving. My daughter and I rescue horses...many of them considered to crazy or mean to be delt with. She went to a clinic last month with a crazy arab paso mare that had been so nutty the previous year...that she was told that it was a danger, and to get a different horse. Nobody recognised that same calm relaxed mare that preformed darned near perfectly all weekend...lol

This is a solid two year drought...a summer or two, we could have managed. North alabama has declared a state of emergency...I don`t know why we haven`t been offered some respite. Kit, amen to that. It eases the suffering.

I suppose that it would move me if I didn`t know the farmers personally and what humble devout christians they are in our valley. These are some of the kindest most decent God loving people I know. As a state, I think that we are pretty special. The weather patterns have changed period. As I understand it...we need (sorry you coast folks) are hurricanes to bring the moisture up here from the gulf....I know the fla folks have appreciated the break, but hey...how bout taking one for the team... I can see God now...oy...fla, ga, al, la praying for no storms....tenn begging for the storms that will bring rain... What`s a God to do?
