I guess that I just don`t understand the rules you play by. Still...that won`t stop me from making my point the way I feel makes the most sense.

So let me try to understand...if I once posted a scriptural reference as back up for a point that I was making at a particular place and time.... I must here ever after ALWAYS use scriptural quotation whether it is applicable to the topic at hand or not?? Is that the problem that you had with my post?

Bumpy you pasted a post of mine that had no scriptural quotes and then went into your lament concerning depressed post way brained in need of a straight jacket. Check it out. It makes no sense. How many times did I say galatians?? Well I certainly didn`t in the post of mine that you pasted to illustrate your point :)

er Bumpy... WHERE did I use bible quotations in the post you sited? Since when is observation of common courtesy and good manners a reason to attack people as mentally unstable and in need of a straight jacket?? Awww Larry, I might a known :) John has indicated that I am of the flesh...IN the context of galatians and fruit of the flesh. When he can provide incidents of such, THEN I will withdraw my objections and apologize profusely. He also called me dense in the post before that...I notice you didn`t whine to the moderators about that .. pretty hypocritical when you are being so diligent about reporting name calling I think :).

I edited my post to not be so mean....before I saw yours....I also edited my post calling John a liar a lot earlier. If ones actions line up with those clearly listed as of someone of the flesh...then sorry dude, that is how you are going to be percieved....and will consequently lack of credibility as a christian. If your actions line up as those listed of someone of the spirit then you gain respect as being a christian. Thats how it works...that is how believers were to identify one a another...that was the spiritual measuring stick or barometer we were given scripturally. Now we have a man of the flesh trying to explain why it is ok to ignore fruit....isn`t that something that should cause concern? This isn`t a personal attack unless you are manifesting fruit of the flesh and want to still call yourself of the spirit.

If as believers of that doctrine, the fruit of our lives do not line up with that which Jesus said was what would identify believers to one another....if instead we behave as *of the flesh* then it is time to take a second look at the validity of what we were taught and think we believe. I cannot prevent you from percieving this as a personal attack, it is not intended as such, but to be thought provoking.

Well it certainly isn`t my walk that we are talking about....but that of wierwille. It is his conduct that is under examination here as to whether or not his ministry or doctrine is spiritually healthy, or whether it was a cleverly disguised counterfit that dragged people into bondage and destruction. I think that galatians 5 is of the utmost importance in discerning these things. You don`t ...big deal so we disagree.

If God winks at what vpw did (which I don`t believe) then damned STRAIGHT I`d have a problem with him. Smatter of fact..I have a real problem with YOU laying the drugging and raping of young women as being winked at by God.... Larry, I don`t think that many people were really enlightened in twi....I think that we believed the hype....shrug I think that we witnessed because we were told that was what God required in order to grow spiritually.

Please make sure of your facts before issuing such slanderous accusations first, as my character and integrity are of utmost importance to me. Enlightenment came after leaving twi pure and simple. Knowledge was aquired, sure...but it didn`t mean a thing as far as enlightenment, that came after escaping the bondage of twi.

What on EARTH are you talking about John? I am at a total loss as to what you might be referring to. :blink: It is completely dishonest of you if you are indicating that I in any way exhibited a single one of those behaviors listed in galatians at a weenie roast. I was camping with kids for goodness sakes. As a matter of fact, I don`t believe that one does manifest the fruit of the flesh if you have had the life impacting change on the inside of the new birth. Genuine christians simply don`t. I think that we are just decieving ourselves into believing that the fruit we manifest is not important. It`s isn`t something that you strive to attain, it is simply a result of who and what you are....

Come on John, what good is the recitation of romans or any other scripture a hundred times, if your life continues to exhibit fruit of the flesh? There are very evil people that know scriptures and have operated under the lable of christian. How else WOULD a false prophet operate?? Jesus said there were going to be folks who proficied in his name, who would arrive, claiming to know him, expecting entrance into heaven.....but would be told to depart. I`d say that if we don`t manifest the specific fruit that Jesus listed as that which would identify us to one another, then our understanding of the scripture must be flawed. That isn`t willfull ignorance, that is waking up and examining the teachings of a man who`s actions have clearly labled him of the flesh. It is pretty funny you of all people would use that term. Love God and love your neighbor, That`s what is important.
