It wasn`t just money...it was our time that we weren`t allowed to donate... I was heavily chastised for cleaning cages at our local humane society....also was in a reserve sheriff depts unit that raised a lot of money for boys and girls ranches..... It was considered a criminal waste of time doing ANYTHING that wasn`t related to twi..... Not that i wasn`t doing twig classes outreach and everything else required.... The money I spent on my horse for the sheriff dept was money not being used to move the word...the money spent on my dog was money not being used to move the word as well.... They not only insisted on a 15 percent tithe...my home and effort to run a fellowship....enrollment in every class....they bugrudged EVERY fricken dime or hour that wasn`t coming to them as well.... Man...when I think of the but chewings I endured for participating in any activity not twi....it was considered wasting time that shouldda been spent *moving the word*...it was considered dishonest... Though I participated in these outside activities regardless....much of the pleasure was gone...because I was told that in doing so.... I was robbing God.....

I voted for number 5 chwester...n I began involvement in 79 .... I have my reasons for voting the way I did...I lived in many different areas. I saw ugliness from the twig upward....true it wasn`t as blatantly obvious in the early involvement........but bad things happened......

hmmm....well I guess I should let you know eagle...what most others here at the spot know....I was once declared the *P* word by the tc`s wife....sigh Twi however tolerated my noxious spiritually dark presense for another ten years ....mustn`t have been too great a threat....I suppose I should be gratefull.

I got a question for you wwjla...are YOU going to be able to view a man with respect that you have been trained to believe is *benieth* you? Are you going to be able to view him as the man he truly is without judging him according to the standards we were taught to believe were important? Are you going to feel the need to *fix* him by insisting that he bear the same spiritual *label*? I think much will be determined by the importance you place in these catagories...... That being said....I believe galations 5 to be a great barometer for determining a persons spirituality no matter what their particular *flavor* happens to be.

A ministry who is now headed up by folks who not only protected but lied and covered for said behavior by the first twi leaders.... Folks who accept the new revelation from one guy who was a many times drunken old sot and the other an ego maniac... Folks who believe the new revelation from afore said nut that the original *sin* was Eve doing the *nasty* with the serpent disguised as another woman...rofl... Folks who believe that they are in some promised land...and that God`s word is over the world....that only they in their househould are spiritually clean enough for access to God almighty??... Folks who are SO afraid of spiritual attack that they are unable to travel alone anywhere.... and we are concerned about what THESE nuts say we are????? I for one have never seen the administrator of these boards insisting on being *serviced* by the young women as part of their spiritual responsibility....nor indulge himself in any other of the many heinous acts that the leaders of said ministry participated in.... and we want to give credence to these foolish ... er faithfull saints pov because???..we trust their discernment abilities in their declartation of our spiritual state...why???? sounds like a no brainer to me....

Tom this is indeed the third roast....the first was a relatively small affair with Hawk his son corey...herbal and his son cam...tessa and her dog xena...my kiddoes myself and a rat terrier. It was held at tims ford state park as well...lot of fun...

Hey ....it`s what he IS not what he says...imo Though both husband and I come from twi....our belief systems are RADICALLY different now...we can still like and respect each other tremendously....each are able to aid the other ...because we are BOTH to the point now where we know that we DON`T know ALL of the answeres... I look for the attributes of the *fruit of the spirit* listed in galations to tell me what is in a persons heart...NOT what they say with their mouth or proclaim as their *faith*. There have been men...(certainly not all) claiming to be christians spouting scriptures left and right...whom have been some of the evilest most vile creatures I have ever had the misfortune to meet......in other words...it AIN`T what comes outta a mans mouth that defiles (or even makes him great) but whats in his heart...

Whatever is easiest for you...the moble home is empty and clean...there are two bedrooms and lots of floor space....for whoever needs a stop over place..
