Yes, I saw the statement and questioned his meaning as well. But ya know what -- I suspect there are some among us that really do fit the statement he made. :) Well, I suppose it depends on how you look at it. I take it you objected to my attempt at a little humor because you felt I wasn't giving you due respect of your experiences. I didn't even have you in mind when I did what I did.

My dear I apologize if I've come across as making "light" of your experience. The air is a little thick in here and I thought it needed a bit of lightening up. It seems that the direction was leading to -- "Let's gang up on Deciderator. He's saying things we don't want to hear." I may not like what you (not you personally) say and you may not like what I (not me personally) say, but if you have the right to attack someone for saying something you don't want to hear then likewise others have the right to attack you if you say something they don't like hearing said. Don't you see that? Attack ideas, concepts or what have ya -- but attacking people just because they don't agree with you is pure b.s. So sorry.

Guess I just have a small mind. Why the hell didn't I just believe I could walk on water on those occasions when my ball went splash? Seemed like taking a mulligan was easier to do. I wouldn't know what to do with them even if that's possible. ;)

Ya know -- My son and I were talking about going to see the movie -- Bourne Ultimatum -- instead of golfing. In hindsight we should have gone to see the movie. Golf! What a sucky game!!!!!! I hate it -- I tell ya. Well, if they WON'T make that damn little white ball bigger then I insist they change the rules so the higher the score the better. I'm on a MISSION from God to see they do that.

Did I mention what my score was? No. Well excluding the mulligans -- the golf course was running a special on them today -- I had a score of 123. Not bad -- if I was playing 36 holes instead of just 18.

Well, I learned today why I don't like golf. After playing 18 holes and $40 I still suck at hitting that little white ball in the direction it's suppose to go. Why can't they make the damn thing bigger!?!?! The best thing about spending five and half hours chasing some little white ball around trees; up and down hills and looking through weeds (for the ones that got away from me) was giving my son a good day of laughing at me as I cussed and swung my custom made clubs (cost me $100 at the time) and hitting air quite a lot instead of that blasted little white ball. Did I mention I think they should make the dang thing bigger? Oh, I guess I did. So that's what I learned from playing golf. :unsure: Oh! Wait a minute. I just realized this thread isn't about golf. My bad. :)

WW, let me clue you in on something which may or may not stop you from trying to educate me on the dynamics of boardieland. I started out as a moderator of a religious/philosophy discussion board at which I eventually advanced to the position of an Administrator. From there I became the owner and administrator of not one -- but three separate discussion boards. So please spare me (and save yourself some time) trying to educate me on board dynamics. It's a waste of bandwidth.

Dan, I appreciate your meekness of heart. It's refreshing. Because of that, I find your advice easily taken and I'll probably follow it. Everyone deals with their pain in different ways. Hopefully they won't have to deal with it the rest of their lives. I believe it's highly possible that God has brought some people here (GS) to work through it. I think Gamaliel said it best when he said: ". . . for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought: But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God." I don't see myself as an "instrument" for God in this regard. However, I hope I'm not an "instrument" against God.

I guess you outta read what I actually say instead saying what you think I said. I haven't made up my mind. If I did that I wouldn't have said "I guess I'm going to have to read the whole thread . . . ." Knowing why would be interesting to learn. I suppose. Usually, I find such attacks are seldom unprovoked. Usually. But it seems to be the case many times when the victim sometimes doesn't recognize they do what they accuse others of doing and get back what they dish out. I'll know better (after reading the entire thread) if that's the case. In the meanwhile -- you just go ahead and keep making your assumptions. :) At least you can't accuse me of plagiarizing. From what I actually said -- how did you arrive at this conclusion? Healing hearts and lives is always a good thing. You can start a topic about that subject if you like. All I know is the topic heading reads "A few big things I learned taking PFAL" and then I read someone saying "You vic-worshipers disgusts me!" Since you don't want to address how the subject turned from the former to the latter I'm left to discover for myself how it did.

Well, seeing as how this thread is 34 pages long I can imagine that Doreen isn't the only one here (especially since doing a search of her posts reveals she's only contributed to it twice). But I don't see how the fact that "other folks have been helped" addresses my point when the topic was "A few things I learned taking PFAL" turned into -- "You vic-worshipers disgust me!" That in itself makes the topic worth reading through (when I have the time to do so).

You crack me up. Maybe that "group hug" thingy will bring doreen back to this topic. She seems to have been driven off of it. I wonder why.
