On one hand yes, I feel you answered my question quite nicely. And I love that you want to share your wonderful achievements with us. On the other hand, I guess I'll wait before getting too interested in you and your life until I see if you're going to stick around and actually participate in "our" lives too or if this is just another instance of you sharing your accomplishments and then disappearing for months. I take it that the moment passed that you were going to actually share the results of your research with us that you came in and asked for our help with? You've addressed my question about it but haven't said whether or not you're going to actually follow through and do as you originally said you would. You said why you haven't done it. Again, it's up to you how much you want to share and with whom, just as it's our choice now if you ask us to contribute again whether or not we want to help you further. Personally, I'm not interested in one-way relationships. I prefer a give and take. I am happy for you and Steve! but I have to say that I feel a bit used and taken for granted when you post the way you do the past couple years or so. Like I said, I really prefer a two-way deal. To each their own. Peace.

Thanks for the clarification, CIndy!.

Congrats on the grandbaby! And I'm happy for you reaching an important personal goal but I have to ask if you're gonna stick around and hang out with us this time or if this is more of you just coming in to tell us your fabulous news (or asking for help and never coming back to let us know how that research ended up - unless you posted and I somehow missed it) but not participating in any forums or chat? Do what you want, of course, but I'm asking because I enjoyed you and Steve! before you announced you were leaving and whenever I see you've posted I wonder if its a comeback or a drive-by?

Neither of us were right, Bullwinkle. It's not "Take It Easy". It still hasn't been named. and just to be clear, my "Ha" was in reference to that I put up a song nobody guessed, then I thought I was the first to guess SS's post, but then after I posted I saw Bullwinkle said he thought it might be Taking it Easy by the Eagles... I posted my guess without seeing Bullwinkle's.
-
Or not. Oops.
-
Ha! Well, I believe its called Take It Easy.

It was Don't Cry, Daddy written by Mac Davis and sung by Elvis. <param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dSfq81aRYL4?fs=1&hl=en_US"><param'>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dSfq81aRYL4?fs=1&hl=en_US"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dSfq81aRYL4?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385">"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dSfq81aRYL4?fs=1&hl=en_US"><param'>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dSfq81aRYL4?fs=1&hl=en_US"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"> Soul Searcher, maybe you'll have better luck than I did finding a song people know by just one line?

Today I stumbled from my bed with thunder crashing in my head My pillow still wet from last night's tears
-
Close, but not quite -
-
Thanks, Human, altho I'd say Soulsearcher got it cause he had the title and that's what we're looking for here. Since its yours to call, of course, I'll go. Today I stumbled from my bed with thunder crashing in my head
-
I can hear part of the song in my head but not enough to get the title. I may be way off, but I'm thinking Doobie Brothers?

Just curious, Tom LB - to which song are you referring here? Is that a line of a song, "Did we do our best to love You, God?"
-
Interesting... If I were close by I might bid on a bed or a dresser or two, probably not though, considering the memories just going there would bring back...

Woo hoo! Now I'm supposed to go back to work, yeah - right! LOL That was more fun that Fish Heads - which I hadn't thought of in years and now can't get out of my head - guess I had better play this one again to get rid of that one - Dirty Little Secret, my new favorite video to watch, er... um LISTEN TO, yeah, that's the ticket! Thanks, Sunesis! Ex-C - It's always a good time for Thunder Road! And almost always for any Steve Forbert - what a fun day in the Song of the Moment thread!

I believe Deb's right. I think it was originally done by Johnny Nash.

The light turned yellow, just in front of him. He did the right thing, stopping at the crosswalk, even though he could have beaten the red light by accelerating through the intersection. The tailgating woman was furious and honked her horn, screaming in frustration, as she missed her chance to get through the intersection, dropping her cell phone and makeup. As she was still in mid-rant, she heard a tap on her window and looked up into the face of a very serious police officer. The officer ordered her to exit her car with her hands up. He took her to the police station where she was searched, fingerprinted, photographed, and placed in a holding cell. After a couple of hours, a policeman approached the cell and opened the door. She was escorted back to the booking desk where the arresting officer was waiting with her personal effects. He said, "I'm very sorry for this mistake. You see, I pulled up behind your car while you were blowing your horn, flipping off the guy in front of you and cussing a blue streak at him. I noticed the 'What Would Jesus Do' bumper sticker, the 'Choose Life' license plate holder, the 'Follow Me to Sunday-School' bumper sticker, and the chrome-plated Christian fish emblem on the trunk, so naturally....I assumed you had stolen the car." Priceless. <br class="Apple-interchange-newline">

I had no trouble getting in the other night and now I'm getting a startup error message and can't seem to get in.

I have no idea.

Jealous? Moi? Just cause I threatened to be on your doorstep within 12 hours if ya didn't doesn't mean I was jealous. And remember, I'll find where you're sleeping at the Hartford Memorial Festival next summer... mwwahhh ha ha ha ha... I'll try to be in chat at 8:00 p.m. Central Time tomorrow, Saturday Sept. 4th. We have a kickball game and cookout tomorrow but I'm pretty sure we'll be home by then.

Wow, teach! This is a DISCUSSION board and that's what Pax did, was contribute to the discussion here. I don't get it. Is your intention to lecture and to only allow opinions that mirror yours? If so, please state that at the beginning of your post and people can decide if they want to tow your line or go elsewhere and think freely as we see fit. We're no longer in the cult and no longer have to all think exactly the same thoughts, thank God!

If you know when you'll be there, belle, I'll try to come in too. Shellon and I had fun with David the other night.
-
Hey, Bluzeman - cool to see you here - and yes, you're right. Your turn.

You should have seen me with the poker man. I had a honey and I bet a grand.
