  2. No, excie, that would be ME And Bumpy, what are you trying to say - that the ladies have to hum cause we're too dumb to read the words? Huh? Huh? Huh? Come over HERE and say that, Mister - I double-dog dare ya!!!
  3. Thanks, dooj! That's exactly what I'm looking for. Duh, I could've searched myself - sometimes I don't know about me!
  4. That does sound delish! Do you make your own tortillas or buy them somewhere? I had a great recipe for them, but have lost it. While I'm thinking of it, do you have a good recipe for indian bread for indian tacos?
  5. psssssstttttt! hey waysider - I dunno what we were talkin' about, 'cause I was jest gaddin' about and only came in a few minutes ago - lol. My mudder-in-law used to say something I've only ever heard HER say and now I find ME saying it - "Oh, for cry-eye!" LOL So glad to amuse ya there, hey!

    Burning Man

Is this like the Old Man Gloom they burn in Santa Fe every year? When we first got there as wows, maybe 2 or 3 weeks into our year they burned this effigy and it was like a fresh start for everyone. I've often thought I should find out when exactly it is and then go there as a non-wow. I bet it'd be great!
  7. For the record, I did have Ron G's permission to post that picture of him and Andrew. I agree we dasn't post anyone's pic without their permission first!

    San Francisco!

Hmmm... Belle, Notta & Eyes? Sounds like GreaseSpotGirls Gone Wild 2 - San Fran style! Y'all have enough fun and take enough pictures, now - y'hear? Much love and wishes that the days last long enough to do all you really, really want to!
  9. A millie! Yeah, that's me! Aww, suda - you brought the tears right back to my eyes - I'm so durn blessed!
  10. What great talent - every one of them!!! Roy Husky Jr, Vassar Clements, Mark O'Connor, Sam Bush, abd the rest - I'll just leave it at that. Thanks for the great treat!!! You said: Did You say Encore Encore Bow??? "Worried About it A Little bit But That's All" ( I really like this One) you got 3 (or was it 4?) of my all time favorite John tunes together there this time! Worried About it a Little Bit is actually called The First Girl I Ever Loved - I usually play that one over and over about a dozen times when I can - (when I'm by myself -lol). I even love hearing his son play that one over and over... I worried about it a little bit, but that's all... Again, thanks SO much! I've followed your instructions a few times and never can post. Now I have no need to - you've gotten about all I'd want to post on here!
  11. Ah, the pressure - which to listen to first?!? This is Hartford Heaven!!! Okay, Try me one more time, then Skippin' in the Mississippi Dew, and all in order - at least once! Oh yeah, we're having fun NOW!!! Thanks, RG!!! The princess and I just sang his song I Would Not Be Here, alternating lines - just kinda started it with no real plan and I was so impressed she knew every line just about perfectly! (That's one of the songs he and I sang together cheek-to-cheek! Mmmm, sweet memories!)
  12. For the original benevolent dictator, he sure was good at sleeping, whoever he was!
  13. mother-in-law!!! Woo hoo!!! Bow jr. and his Pauliane got married today in Gatlinburg, TN! They've been together for 7 years and are really one of the best couples I know (just a little prejudiced, I know ). I'm beside myself with joy! I had probably the best mother-in-law ever as an example and I pray I'm half as good to my daughter-in-law as Mom was to me, may she rest in peace. Pictures to come as I get permission.
  14. RainbowsGirl - Thanks so much! I could listen to Josh Turner all day long! And he's sure not bad to look at - especially when he smiles! Those were fun videos! Polar Bear - Yes, I'm a fan of Jerry Jeff - got rained out the only time I actually had tickets to see him back in the early 80s, but oh yeah, if he came to town, you can bet I'd be in the audience! Who's that guy singing that song in the latest one you posted? Being an avid Hartford fan, of course, I took a trip on the Julia Belle Swain when he was piloting - he shared his binoculars with me - the only time in my life I've ever been able to see through those things - had the time of my life singing his songs with him, cheek-to-cheek up there in the pilot house! Good thing my ex-husband was such a good sport! Anything of his you want to know about - ask me, if I don't know, it'd be my extreme pleasure to find it out for you. On a related note, his son, Jamie Hartford, is an awesome performer too - he's more bluesy and he does it well, as well as an outstanding mando player.
  15. i'm delighted to hear of the lady describing you at home picking up the stuffed toys - that's extremely cool! No doubt God's smiling on you as you continue your journey!
  16. So how come the big guy didn't wear a costume?
  17. I watched several of those videos and I believe they were truly healed people. I thought the girl was limping before and only for a short time after. I think it was real. I got a kick out of the lady in the wheelchair running behind it, pushing Rev. Allen in it down the ramp. Part of it seemed hokey, but she was up out of the chair and running! I too believe God would have us healed. I'm excited about the future in terms of what we learn and do with God. Personally, I'm learning about Jesus right now. After I get a solid understanding there, I'll move on to my next subject which may well be healing. I don't know right now. For right now, I'm just thankful I can open a bible again and enjoy it. TWI falsely accusing my son and me as they did and tossing us out like trash affected me for a long, long time. I'm now getting past all that and see my future in a whole different light than I did the first 10 or 12 years after the m & a.
  18. Oh Bullwinker - I never miss John Prine when he comes to my area - I've seen him in concert over 20 times - once with Steve Goodman! My current favorite Prine song is In Spite of Ourselves - that entire cd is such a treat to my ears. Let's Talk Dirty in Hawaiin, Your Flag Decal Won't Get You Into Heaven Anymore, Fishin' and Whistle, Donald and Lydia, Hello In There... - oh yeah! I listen to a lot of Prine music!
  19. RainbowsGirl - I bought that cd cause I love that song Me and God so! I had to hear what else he sung, as I'd known of Long Black Train and now this Me and God song. There's another really good song (imo) on there called Loretta Lynn's Lincoln. Would you mind posting that one? I've tried and not been able to post songs and that's probably a very good thing... Or if that's not to your liking, how about Your Man - oh, I like that one too!
  20. Happy Birthday! I hope you get to do what you like for it!
  21. I pictured paw as Fabio and I was right. I picture myself as Dolly Parton - only partly right. I picture Dmiller with a banjo or a fiddle.
  22. I think I only have one question. Are both those beards drawn on with magic marker? That was really funny - in poor taste, but oh man, to think they actually produced that and went through all that work for THAT! LOL <_<
  23. Books on my shelf awaiting my reading them: They Shall Expel Demons by Derek Prince Blessing or CUrse by Derek Prince On Experiencing God's Power by Derek Prince Believing God by Beth Moore The D.L. Moody Collection, edited and compiled by James S. Bell, Jr. I also have a couple Joyce Meyers books, as well as Dale Sides and a few others that I have yet to read. Vacation's coming...
  24. I had what twi called an 'unbelieving believer' husband and the leadership very nicely discouraged me spending time with HIM, MY HUSBAND! I was also discouraged from spending time with his mom and dad, as well as my siblings and non-twi friends and neighbors. I had no parents, but if I had, I believe I'd been told about them being 'empty shells' and other uncomplimentary terms too. It was all about fellowshipping only with likeminded believers. I was in from '79-'94.
