My favorite area of Disney World is the replicas of other countries, hmmm that's Epcot maybe. But Disney World is best enjoyed with the youth IMHO. I believe the rates are in the $40 range during season. That water that jumps from one hole into another is cool though, remember that. :) I am going to make sure I look up those places you remember to see if still there. God's marshmallows. And I think they stopped those women from selling hotdogs grouper dogs due to accidents happening if I remember correctly. That link made me think of Chicago Blues as soon as I opened it. Fine music!

I suspect I'll be back a few years before I make that Disney trip and when I do it will be in the off season when Floridians get a break on the tickets. And have you noticed that the scallops you get anywhere but yourself aren't really scallops but plugged fish of some sort. Those real puppies are yummy and something I certainly look forward to. I wonder if the women still stand by the road side in thongs selling hot dogs. They use to make a killing.
  4. Yeah, nothing works like they say it does on TV or anywhere else for that matter but I love to see how the slightest thing can nail the killers. Miami has changed quite a lot since I lived there. I still prefer the Tampa Bay area although the panhandle is beautiful. And what does this have to do with anything? With me it doesn't matter I reckon. <_<
  5. Sudo, What a delightful clip and one that will be saved in my library. Some faces I've seen before but I wouldn't have known the cast by name. Those old black and whites are the best, they just can't duplicate it no matter how techie we become. The language alone is rich and full of clever ways of saying things. Although my mouth is quite horrid so I don't mean to imply I'm above it but still all these f-this and g-d that doesn't make for entertainment like the days of old. I am so thankful I was born in the 50's and had exposure to such richness that today has been for the most part lost. Your clips have always reminded me of days that were a bit for humane towards each other. NOT PERFECT lest someone that does read here jumps on some bandwagon against me. I admire your heart on all this and know that I added to the thread going down. I forgot my password required on my laptop and my PC is iffy right now so I can't rely on it. That has limited me from adding links and I am sorry I allowed this much time to pass and not address the issue. We know many folks read here that never posted and I imagine they enjoyed this place even if they never felt a need to let you or any of us posters here know. We know by views alone the thread was followed. And so that accounts for something to me. You are a good friend Sudo, and I enjoy our communication behind the scenes and am grateful you consider me a friend. I will also miss hiwayman's input greatly as he is such a wellspring of fun knowledge. May the God of our choice be with us all. Kisses and Hugs, Kathy I see typo's but ain't gonna edit the post. And Hi Sushi, I let you slip in without reading you.
  6. I caught that also when he said in 4 weeks but they have used such ways to make folks leave forever so I wasn't sure. I like Miami and NY because of some of the cast, but neither are as good as the original.

Socks, After reading your post I do not even care if there are flying bugs big enough to carry off your first born. How delightful your view of Florida is. We are looking at the whole Tampa Bay area which includes just up the road from John and Hope but not as east as Ted and Moony. We actually have a couple houses that mom is going to look into because they are on her street and in both cases the husband has passed away and the wives cannot bear to be there so are staying with their children. There is a possibility one of them may consider renting to us on a short term until we can get established. Also my mom is huge on networking with friends and she already has feelers out for my employment and hubby is contacting an old friend he worked with this weekend. While I was there I found out they are expecting 30,000 families to move into the Bay area within the next few months. The area is booming again like it was when we were there. And fresh fish.....yummy....also the music.....yeah. I grew up going to the Keys and you know whose music you hear down there! Yup the place has those parrot heads. heehee Our house is beginning to look like we are moving which may seem early since it will not be until April but we plan to make this a easy move and not have to fret towards the end. Kathy I never made it back to your site last night but will tonight.

I was attacked by a swarm of flying roachs once. They got tangled up in my hair. I thought I would die that day. Then I painted one onto my leg trying to knock it off with a paint brush. Oh my goodness. Those dang flying roaches must be blind also because they fly run right into the wall. And to listen to these one would think the places I saw them were dirty but the swarm were outside at a neighbors and the one that crawled up my leg was when I was painting the outside of the house. Yuck, I don't want to think about that part anymore.
  9. Sudo, I still can't talk about this because I know I'm some to blame and I can't deal with that right now. Kathy
  10. Sudo, This is sad and I can't address it right now. (((you))) Kathy
  11. Well I tried it and it was Gentleman Pounder. This is fun but I should be packing. With my user name here it is Red Kahn. I wish I had more names. Gotta go back to packing......
  12. I forgot I had other names to play with. My maiden name is Diamond Stink Face and with my middle name added Kid Show. Can I try with my imaginary name?
  13. I hope not. Have you watched NY and Miami also?
  14. I got a 98. Amazing!
  15. If I include my middle name I'm awesome a s s and without my middle name I'm double-crossing venus.

Yup, they are called Florida rooms. And quite nice since the weather there is often outdoors kind of days. I am getting more excited each day. Guess what I just saw? I was heading to a noon appointment when flying past me goes this emergency vehicle with a gas hose still in his tank and the hose with attachment from the opposite end just flying in the wind. The thing dang near hit my car as I got out of his way. I bet he was some embarrassed with he arrived at the urgency scene he was headed to.

Socks, how cool of you. And I loved your song which makes you want to dance to the beat in your seat! I'll also check out your site more tonight because I see you can add comments. And I know you have loads of friends so it seems to me that Tom needs some company. I don't have the patience to mess with new things like that the way I would like to. Maybe I will get over that. We are moving in April most likely. And I have missed the seafood since we left. Remember how their seafood isle was as long as their meat one at some stores. Yum Yum! I never thought I would be making that move but more and more it feels good to be doing it. And I am saying this in my head also to help prepare me for the humidity and the bugs. Hugs and Kisses to you and yours! I better stop posting before I go over the smilies limit. Kathy
  20. Such a beautiful instrument and if it were possible for the wood and strings to have thanked him afterwards I bet they would have. That is interesting Sudo, I believe I may have read that in the past but had forgotten it. It seems to me that someone playing an instrument simply for the love of it and not trying to master the formal techniques could open up new avenues of sound. I know that in other countries they don't just follow our acceptable range of chords and notes and to me it sounds odd almost, yet to them it is obviously beautiful. In our American blues we do some of that with tuning (SRV was a master of it) so maybe we have more of what I am talking about than I am giving credit to. So in other words just go on with what you were doing prior to reading me.
  21. I've read some of their history over the years and they were interesting men outside of the movie/radio arena.
