They were only lying to us when they said there was such a thing as a happy ending.

I'll be a good girl and keep my mouth shut about the top and the bottom. But I'm glad you got the joy of that dang top spot and any time you want to borrow it please feel free.

Now what will they think of next. :) Why don't we come up with these ideas and get rich like other folks?

Hap, That should go in a book of some sort. History or food, something for certain. Vegan, Thanks for that post. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ I have hunted but never for sport just for food. Fishing the same. I don't think that is a sport to kill just because you can.

Socksman, He looks like he's making love to that harp guitar (not meant as a rude thing I trust you know) and gosh to have long fingers like that. I envy folks that can just put their whole hand across the neck like that.

((your hands and wrist dear one))

Fantastic!! If a man could look at ease playing he has nailed it also. Smooth is an apt word to describe his playing. Thank you, thank you!!!

For myself like the example I gave of my coworker who held animals in higher regard than humans I understood why in her case but it still wasn't healthy thinking. I can see Vegan doesn't hold animals above people she just doesn't chose to eat them. And Dot doesn't hold animals above people but she does recognize people that act worst than animals ever would. I think if we worship the creation over the creator we are on the loosing side and in time it will take its toll. That for me is why I have had conversations that were less than friendly, when someone considered anything more important than the dignity of the human being. Maybe that is why some folks get enraged over this subject. Just my thoughts FWIW.

If you only knew the magnitude of that question. But to answer regarding our Pit Bull that I loved and grieved over when we had to give her away it was a healthy fear. One of understanding that the breed had the strength that mine didn't compare to and regardless of her gentle nature and peacefulness 100% of the time she was still a Pit Bull. Not the kind of fear I have/had in other areas of my life. I hope that made sense coolchef.

Ron, You best be careful now beings there are a few of us going to heck in a hand basket and you just might be joining us with that kind of talk. Chas, Good points on the manner food is taken care of. But then I'm going to heck ya know.

As much as we squirm at the thought of this man even he had the right idea on how off we have become regarding things given us by God for nourishment. He felt one day would come that folks would be in an uproar because we were eating plants stating for the zealous ones that plants have rights also. He wasn't off base on that view. Isn't that right Craig?!

Tom, Dixie Chick is precious. Rascal, Actually we had to deal with having our female pit in regards to children, friends and family. My sister was terrified of her even though she had never shown any indications other than that of a big loveable baby (she weighed 95-100 lbs) but we knew the breed could not be fully trusted and were very respectful and fearful of her because of it. We never put anyone in danger or made them uncomfortable because we had her. If family or friends came over she was put into our bedroom and kept there until they had left. Even if they said they trusted her and wanted her out we didn't want the risk of liability knowing her breed. In fact our fellowship didn't even know we had a dog for a long time because they never saw her (and I reckon the house had no smell, much to my delight). To me she was precious and I cried for days when we had to give her away to go into the wc. But I know they have a history and would be the first to advise great caution regarding them. I reckon I love big dogs the best and the only fear I have of them is the fear I force myself to have due to their size. That could be risky of me being so attracted to these big dogs but if I lived in the country I would have them running wild and free all around me. And they would be loved till their dying days. I have had much comfort from a big ole doggie. Heck even some of the posters here have sent me pictures of their doggies and I fell in love at first sight. Respect and fear is a must for big dogs though. No question of it. Kathy

Going to Texas at Thanksgiving instead of being with my family of which I now don't have to be with anymore. Yup, it's personal. Those buttwipes!
