Hey dreamer, I don't know if I ever welcomed you here from me.
  4. Yes, thank you Abi, I certainly didn't mean to overlook that aspect, that is very much part of this problem.

    Rape

Mark, at risk of whatever may come my way I would like to reply. You hit on some of the very concerns I have regarding rape. It can be a convenient way for a woman to get back at the man for one thing. Or for her to cover her butt because she made a mistake and doesn't want to own up to it. And rarely is the man allowed such scapegoats in this category. As well it is women that use this plea when they are in part responsible due to enticing the man, or going into his hotel room, or a variety of ways, geez I'm a woman so I know we have ways of entrapment, that make it more difficult on those of us who were raped with no invitation to be whatsoever. And I know even I can put off vibes and for that I have held me way more responsible than I ever should so I understand the whole circle of this topic. Women that use this because they made a mistake in the first place make it harder and harder on everyone. And you can claim you have the right to say yes and no until the cows come home but if you put yourself in harms way then good lord why is it so hard to acknowledge you had some responsibility in it also. I feel that is abusing the woman has a right over her body issue. And again it only harms those who really had their rights over their bodies taken away. And yes I know there are circumstances where the lines can be very difficult to reach a true conclusion and there will always be those cases. But a woman just flat out using this is wrong. Plain and simple!
  6. There is also fault on the welfare systems part because they allowed women to do it by not limiting the number of children with no father until recently. Too bad they didn't get it sooner.

How many of us looked at Ohio first I wonder. My hope is that marital rape is reviewed in each instance with a critical eye (that is not saying accusing) for the protection of all.

Ah ah! Now the dots connect to what you meant earlier that I didn't quite understand. ;)
  16. I don't know CW but you have some great points for certain. And on another note but same subject one thing about these baby factories we have is why did it take so many years for the system to limit how many "I don't know who the father is" baby makers? That was like encouraging these women to suck the system dry! Slothful thinking takes very little encouragement to aid in it prospering. It amazes me that we can see these solutions yet the air must get real cloudy in those offices where they make policies in.
  17. Kind of like the immigration system. I was told by that agent I worked with that was an immigration lawyer at one time that the system was so broken there was no possible way to turn it around.
  18. So in other words they would save us money if they hired more staff to actually check these things rather than just give it out because they are under-staffed. Makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Eh!
  19. Part of this out sourcing thing IMHO is an attitude some of our American workers have taken on and it resided in the wc on the field also because it was fed to them from hq. That being when they first went back to working folks rather than being paid field folks they were told to only go after the cream of the crop positions and not even apply at lower level positions because they were above that. These were not the exact words but the jest. Then when so many of them couldn't find a job and were still being supported by hq the direction changed to take anything you can get. This attitude resides outside of their thinking as well, just like young people today go into debt up to their eyeballs to have what mom and dad worked for 50 years to have. Then what is the result but bankruptcy by these young families which just buries us all.

    Rape

I swear to think these twi people thought they even had the right to counsel anyone on something other than how to cook meatloaf was ridiculous on their parts. And I know (despite my personal situation) that not all women enjoy sexual relations and I also know that twi's cure for nearly everything in a marriage problem was to let your husband get his rocks off more often. Heck even my husband was told he was allowing me to control him because our roles were the opposite as ones stated here. I can only imagine what this new class they have on family principals (or something of that nature) is like. Is it the extreme in the other direction from CF&S in their efforts to make them a kinder gentler ministry? And I am assuming that now all parties here realize (in detail) that I never condoned being taken advantage of my either spouse. My stand was regarding a woman torturing her man simply because she could and then using the rape card as a means of revenge. my=by
