Oh gross, y'all are talking about eating rats ain't ya! icky yucky I told hubby what you posted Waysider and he said if you were in a ice freeze situation and there was nothing to eat then rats would be good eating. Oh yuck, I've never been that hungry before, and pray I never am.

The Rocky man was in-between us and I should have posted your post so you would know what post that I was posting about because without a reference post one can get lost in the posts you know. Yeah, one of my neighbors is about to explode from excitement at the money he could make tomorrow (he does that on the side). :)

I'm watching now because it looks like that system from upper west is pushing things below us perhaps. But what I've heard so far is only a couple inches by morning but by days end tomorrow 8 to 10 inches but there is heavy ice being spoken of also. It looks like to me though it could push below us but that's not what they are saying.

The only one I recognized was the woman that dreaming was talking about. She was beautiful.

If it hits here the way they describe it then it will be like I have never seen personally.

So it was a bad example I reckon. <_< And the only thing I hate in this issue is giving what we don't have to people that if the roles were reversed would shoot our butts full of arrows if we dare walk into their countries and demand what we are giving them in our country. But this subject has been beat to death and it isn't going to change until the ones that have to give from their tables today no longer have to give because they gave it all away. Until then my words are merely p!$$ing in the wind, enough said on all of this. I still love those Billy Jack movies and song though.

I see this area hurting more since we moved here also which is part of why we are leaving the area. It is concerning that more and more we see this and that is part of why I can't understand how we could give away to other countries what we don't have for ourselves. It truly makes my head want to explode when I hear things like we have promised Africa 40 or 50 million bucks for Aids research. Where is that money hidden at? I think the song about the village fighting for the gold hidden in that fort on the hill and ending with a piece of paper inside rather than gold saying "peace on earth and good will to man" should apply to the confines of this country. We are so eager to give away what we do not have yet we seem hesitant to help our own mankind on this soil. It will never make sense to me, never.

Thanks Psalms, and I don't think I've spoken to you since you came back. I still remember you explaining over the phone to me years ago (while time flies and so do you) how you write the way things sound phonetically (word?) and that was a hoot of a conversation. And to Hap, I don't know if you were referring to me so it would be unfair to reply. For a tad more explanation to Groucho, I didn't read that other thread before I commented on the weirdness of this thread and brought the text over here. When I read that one I understood more why some of you had mentioned the windfall that made him nose up his buddies and bid us ado. I still didn't read his exit in the same vein that others did but I don't have the bull nose to bull nose with him in 'tacks that you men did either so I had to step back a pace knowing I wasn't as informed as I should have been to continue. Yet I did read some underlying things there and if they were not there then I was wrong but if they were there then you men knew you had it in your hearts at the start. It's still a free country (I think) and a free board (thank you Paw) so speak all you want, you are tough men and will anyway. As to any references to God being only for the select I will hold my tongue on that whole subject as I feel there is nothing I can put into words that is not already known of my opinion on that.
