TommyZ It seems a lifetime ago we were emailing about music when I still lived not far from you. Wow, where did the years go. :) Kevlar2000 that is one of the nicest things ever said to me. I hope that tree thrives dear. My day at work has been so great and Mondays are usually a bear to get thru but all y'all have made it quite different. Loves and Loves!!!!!

Yeah, I'm at work but I only have 4 weeks left here and then I'll be looking for work down south. I actually will have 2 weeks off between here and leaving the state. I'm too old for this moving stuff.

If I wasn't having a good birthday there would be no excuse not to after those sweet wishes. I do love this place and have cherished the friendships here as being some of the best of my lifetime. QT I just adore you dear. Eyesopen I wished I looked like your avatar. :)

Your avatar still cracks me up. Thanks for the wishes kiddo. And my computer is taking forever on this site so if I don't come back in awhile it's because I gave up for the moment.

I went out into the yucky rain for some Wendy's chili. I bet you make much better food. :)

Happy belated dude! And RainbowsGirl you're getting quite good at this stuff already. :)

Tonto, I enjoy yours as well and would love to have your hair, I hope that doesn't sound odd. :) Suda, My mom use to make my sister and I matching purses for our Sunday best because she made most of what we wore due to being poor yet we had the nicest things to wear because of it. I wished I'd also had a girl so I could have dressed her up. RainbowsGirl, How precious and you are a rare find I hope you realize. And one that I am certain those helping you on line will enjoy as well. I can't speak for the others but bluzeman has the patience of gold when it comes to computer stuff and many times has put me at ease when I thought I was going to run into the street screaming because of this thing here. Hiwayman, You know I think you are cool and love the history lessons you have given us in the Nostalgia thread. You all.....

I know that I can be emotional lately and might have caused some to not care for me anymore but I love this place and your hearts and can't imagine being with a better group than the ones I've met here. Act2, please tell your mom I wish I could go hang out at her place today because I know she always has goodies I like and it didn't go unnoticed that anytime I visited her that she had also stocked my favorite drink...Coke. Hugs and Kisses!

I'm heading to work now but I've been exhorted by Shell and bowtwi to be kind to myself today and I'm going to take their advice. Hugs!

If I could wake up to a Mark Knopfler song every morning I might consider having more of these things. :) Thanks George and also for how you have tried to keep that thread alive down there.
-
Thank you! David, you couldn't have given me a better gift than that song. Thank you for that!
-
Thank you Dot.

I just looked up the phrase and I thought it was something totally different. So I won't be saying that again. What I thought it meant was folks taking the law into their own hands. Sorry for the confusion dear.

Nice song T-Bone, thank you for bringing it here.

That just makes my heart ache. The older I get the more I realize things aren't getting better around me but worse and I'd hoped once upon a time that as I grew older I would be able to relax and enjoy life some since I've had to work so hard just to be at this age. Sadly that dream for all of us is being weakened as each year goes by. It is easier to live with your head in the ground I guess but we here on this board don't have that luxury. We all seem to get it, in varying degrees, but we get it and it's just sad. And I sound so pessimistic and didn't use to sound that way. I'm searching for a balance somewhere. Because this is not the way I want to remain. All that to say this....it seems the love of money is the root of all evil and we who would like to live a peaceable life get to pay for it.

If the authorities don't take actions in time the citizens will. And like so many things today that make me crazy the citizens will be arrested and prosecuted because they broke the law but the little pieces of crap that caused this to happen will still flourish. In the old west they knew how to take care of these things. I apologize for my anger here, I think I need to back off talking anywhere for awhile.
-
The more I know of you the more I am touched you have included me in your world of friends dear heart. (but can I get younger rather than older perhaps oh heck the alternative is much worse)
-
Wonderful!
-
George, I've been trying to figure out but haven't so far. These are toughies for sure. Kathy

Welcome Joe. And it's cool to see RG hanging with us also. :) This is one of those threads that can sooth your heart when you just need some down time.

Dying sucks but when you go it sure would be nice doing what you loved I think.

Don't know with father but mother's folks are Cherokee Indians. (glad this day has arrived though so they will stop showing that disgusting eating contest program airing today on Spike)
