Sorry for coming back so much but I didn't want to sound like I don't have compassion towards those hurt by twi, I could write my own chapter in that personal regard. But I think Waysider hit on something important. The people that we loved that made up that ministry are still that, people first, and we don't have to apologize for the love we had or still have for them to anyone.

And what Ducky pointed out was one of the wildest things for me to accept, that a forum made up of an ex-Christian group had folks that were or are not Christians but I finally got that (I think). :unsure:

RG, That is the main reason I don't frequent the Way forum anymore. In 'tacks we go after each other but it's the same going after you do in the world also and I can handle it. I don't spend time in doctrine because I don't have the time at the moment to put into the research so I can have an informed opinion. This forum Open use to be one of fun and such but you have to walk carefully even here. And there are those that just like to be difficult but they're pretty well marked as such. I think you are precious and have contributed something long needed here. I hope you find places you enjoy and don't even bother reading the others and you'll enjoy this place a whole lot better. I figure 90% of the women that would think in authoritative definitions would have the requirements necessary to be one. Although I certainly do understand you point.

Jonny, Good to see you again and your gig sounds quite fun. Although I have no experience or suggestions on guitars, but the folks here certainly do. As to not wanting to hang in the Way forum and read.....I don't frequent there either but I know there are plenty of folks that do and the archives and articles are abundant if nothing more was ever even said about the Way again on that forum. People that want to know the evil behind the scenes have more than enough to open their eyes. The day Paw thinks we can't participate in the other forums if we don't also bash the Way is the day I reckon he'll close us down but until then I have no guilt whatsoever that I don't read and join that forum and if you want to return to play away from that forum I see no laws in place around here that wouldn't allow it. I'm beginning to think authority has to be given to ourselves by ourselves before we can have it over another. Or in other words we have to believe in ourselves and our ability before we can ask another to believe in us also. Authority given in a work place isn't our personal choice. You work there, you give respect to the one in authority. But in personal things we earn or give ourselves the right to have authority.

Hap, That was not directed at you and to be honest it was guilt peeking its head out. I get so frustrated that we are so free to give monies we don't have away. I just can't get my head wrapped around it and when I see these commercials of hungry children in other countries and our actors/singers adopting a child from every country when there are children in foster homes praying on their knees every night for a mom and dad I just shake my head and wonder what am I missing. I know that is a small thing in the larger scale of it all. But why don't we consider the people paying for these promises being made. What is wrong with those in power in light of this, why aren't they seeing the obvious? Or am I just going bonkers and folks are too kind to tell me? Kathy

I agree with your thoughts on which student you enjoy working with and it's cool to think of athletes also that had disabilities that turn out to be the best in their sport because of their determination to go beyond what would hold them back, great post dooj.
